New Homepage and Navigation
As you will see below, the New Homepage is very different from the Current Homepage. The New Homepage utilizes a variety of Fluid tiles and Menus to navigate the system where the Current Homepage utilizes a Menu and breadcrumbs. Because the Fluid tiles adapt to both small and large screened devices, the end-user experience should be more uniform.

My Homepage is the new default Fluid homepage. The first time you see this new homepage, it can be challenging to figure out how to navigate and find the pages you need to do your job. To start using the Fluid navigation, click on the Navbar icon. It is circled in the screenshot below:
On the Navbar, you'll see tiles for , , , and . Recent Places My Favorites Navigator Classic Home
To get to the PeopleSoft Menu Structure, you have two options to find your page. The first option is to click on and navigate to your Navigatorpage .
The second option is to click on . You'll find this Menu to be similar to the Current Homepage. You can navigate to your page but it Classic Homeno longer shows you the breadcrumbs of the path to this page.

How can end-users utilize homepages?
How to add a tile to a homepage
End-users can add tiles for routine tasks to For example, it might be very handy to add and/or to My Homepage. GL Inquiry Classic Home My . If you want to add a particular page like GL Inquiry to your homepage, then you can use the following basic steps.Homepage
Navigate to the page you want on your homepage. In this example, you'll navigate to the GL Inquiry page.
Click on the icon circled below and select .Actions List Add to Homepage
Next you should be prompted to choose an available homepage like or create a new homepage. For this example, My Homepageselect .My Homepage

Click OK
Now if you click on the Home icon shown below, you'll see what got added to your .My Homepage
The GL Inquiry tile should now appear on the . My Homepage
How to add a homepage
End-users may also want to create other homepages so they can organize and perform routine tasks. To create a homepage, click on the Actions icon shown below and select List Personalize Homepage.
This should bring up the following page. Click on the Add Homepage button.
If you aren't seeing the My Homepage button, you should look for the Toggle Homepage Panel icon circled below:
Then the Homepage Panel will pop out on the page. The Toggle Homepage Panel icon seems to appear when the page is wider than the window.
Click on the Add Homepage button. Enter a name for your new homepage. In this example, I'll add My Travel and Expense.
Now click Save to have your new homepage.
This will take you back to the homepage where you can click on the homepage dropdown and choose a homepage.
My Favorites
Now you can Add, Remove, and Reorder the links in . My Favorites
To add a link to My Favorites
Navigate to the page Click on the and select .Actions List Add to Favorites
To remove or reorder the links in My Favorites
Click the icon and select Navbar My Favorites

Reporting Related Changes
BI Publisher ReportsGL Inquiry
Navigate to GL Inquiry> University of Maine System > General Ledger > Lookup Items> GL Inquiry
Generate the information that you want to print:
Click on the GL Inquiry Icon, then click on Report Manager link.
When you first arrive on this page, it will be blank. The report will not be published here until it completes processing, 15-20 seconds after you press the Report Manager link in the GL Inquiry page. You can press the Refresh button in the upper right hand corner or wait for it to appear.
Click on the Report Description link to open the report:
The report has a slightly different layout than the crystal report, but does report the same information.
Journal Entry Detail Reports
Navigate Main Menu > General Ledger > Journals > Journal Entry > Create/Update Journals > Find Existing Value
Enter your business unit, journal id and or date and press Search.
Select the Lines Tab.
Select the option Print Journal (XMLP) and press the Process Button
When you press the Process button, the Report Manager link will appear, as will the Process Monitor link.
Click on the Report Manager link to go to Report Manager and find your report.
Again, you’ll have to wait approximately 30 seconds for the report to complete before it appears on the list. Press the Refresh button.
Click on the UMGLX7501 – Journal Entry Detail Report to review it.
Again, there are slight layout differences, but the same information is presented.
Download to Excel ChangesAfter the upgrade, end-users need to be aware that the ability to Download to Excel may appear in one of the following locations on the page:
Some pages will have the traditional location for the Download to Excel circled below:
And other pages will display the on the page under the Download Process List Table to Excel Grid Action Menuicon circled below:

Journal Entry from the Worklist may require end-users to 'Personalize'To Personalize the grid on the page, click on the circled icon below and select ' '. Personalize
On the next page you can either adjust the Column Order and Sort Order to your own preference, or Copy Settings that are set up: UMS_JRNL
PS QueryRun Query/Running Man icon is going away
Currently when running a query in Query Manager, end-users get the following message to save their query before running the query.
Since this feature is not going to be available after the upgrade, end-users will need to be sure to save any changes to your query. Otherwise, the changes will be lost.

Chrome - Some versions didn't show the Navbar icons; (NOTE: At this point we haven't gotten to the bottom of this issue. But it was suggested to try shrinking size of window to see if that made a difference. Have not heard whether this made a difference or not.)
What do I need to do?
Before the Upgrade
Make sure you retrieve any files you want in Process Monitor and Report Manager as they will not be there after the upgrade.May want to consider adding more Favorites.
