Financial Decision SciencesFinancial Decision Sciences Mission: To empower students in the development of fiscal decision-making abilities and enhance the basic understanding of financial business principles, creative thinking, logic, and lifestyle management. To de-mystify the financial system and foster confidence in the talent of students to make positive choices.

Objectives:

To foster understanding and confidence within financial and business systems.

To develop greater understanding of personal responsibility and the uses of financial and business concepts to increase personal capacity of functional skills.

To help create a decision-making system that can be used throughout the student’s life.

To help identify the relationship between the global macro environment, investments, education attainment, and income.

To help develop a long-term plan which includes fiscal decision management, personal development and life style attainment.

• The roles and responsibilities of the individual within the economy • The effects of international events in personal fiscal policy development. How to read

between the headlines and identify opportunities.

• Creating a Financial Philosophy

• Money management, goal setting, time management, education and lifestyle management.

• Choices: macros, fundamentals and technical analysis

• Planning: setting a goal and the steps to making the goal a reality

• Markets, Equity, Bond, Foreign exchange, Commodities

• Pre-test will be administered at beginning of program. A post-test will be administered prior to the conclusion of final session.

• Sessions are 3 hours in length.

• Sessions will consist of lectures, guest speakers and interactive activities.

• Each student will be given a workbook to accompany the learning process.

• Each student will have an opportunity to present ideas and concepts relative to program topics and demonstrate their own understanding.

• Each student will have an opportunity to work in a group setting to foster the concept of team-work and leadership.

Biography Todd teaches Business, Finance, and Economics at several colleges and universities and has over eight

(8) years of experience. A advocate of giving value to the marketplace, Todd is dedicated to teaching a holistic approach to understanding money, investments, and decision making principles in order to empower people to make positive choices that improve their lives and create positive legacies. 

Enlightenment, Application, and Empowerment are the basic concepts that lead to greater understanding.

Education: Cleveland State University. Cleveland, Ohio Biography: Reggie Holmes is an experienced stock and options trader who has been trading the market

for over eight (8) years. Mr. Holmes has also taught individuals how to trade in the market for the past five (5) years. Over 300 students have directly benefited from his teaching on how to read stock charts and trade options. Mr. Holmes specializes in Japanese candlesticks, and western methods of moving averages, Bollinger bands, and lower indicators. Reggie uses a special combination of these tools to teach how to read a stock chart so one can understand the technical analysis and increase the probability determining a change in the trend of the stock market.

Mr. Holmes favorite saying is, “ it’s all in the charts., charts tell you everything about what

is happening with a stock or the company.”
