Financial Aid Planning: Louisiana requires public school students graduating spring 2018 and beyond to take one of the following steps as part of their Individual Graduation Plan:1. Complete the FAFSA; or2. Complete a non-participation LEA form; or3. Receive a waiver through the district hardship waiver process.

The TOPS Performance Award Eligibility Requirements- Minimum High School GPA of 3.00 (GPA computed on core courses only)- Minimum ACT Score of 23

The TOPS Honors Award Eligibility Requirements- Minimum High School GPA of 3.00 (GPA computed on core courses only)- Minimum ACT Score of 27

Louisiana now requires all students to choose the TOPS University or TOPS Tech/ Jumpstart diploma pathway for graduation. Students are required to successfully complete the following units in their chosen pathway:

TOPS UNIVERSITY DIPLOMA English/Math/Science/Social Studies - 4 units each Foreign Language - 2 units Art - 1 unit P.E./Health - 2 units Electives - 3 units Total units required - 24

TOPS TECH JUMPSTART DIPLOMA English/Math - 4 units each Science/Social Studies - 2 units each P.E./Health - 2 units Jumpstart Electives - 9 units (9 units within Pathway + IBC) Total units required - 23
