Garden Club Gives Back Donating cheerful houseplants to homebound hospice patients is an annual holiday tradition of the Pleasant Hill Garden Study Club. Members brought plants to the club’s December meeting and delivered them the next morning. This year, 30 plants were given to Hospice of the East Bay and anoth-er 30 went to Sutter Care at Home. Delivering the plants (pictured left to right) were PHGSC members Gail Sutherland and Carol Nelsen. Member Jan Egan prepared identification la-bels. Jory’s Flowers in Concord generously donated label stakes. Submitted by Eileen Housfeld.
