    History of Car Rentals: The Beginnings

    The U.S. car rental industry is believed to have began

    back in 1916 , when a Nebraska man by the name of JoeSaunders decided to lend out his Ford Model T to localand visiting businessmen.

    It didn't take long for Saunders to realize he'd stumbledonto a lucrative business idea. By 1925, Saunders'independent car rental company had grow to includeoperations In 21 states.

    Learners Driving License (LDL)They must first attend a 6 hour safety course, then a theory test, andfinally another 5 hour course for maintaining a manual car.

    License holders are only permitted to drive cars displaying the Lplate owned by driving schools under the supervision of a drivingschool instructor.

    The learner's license may be renewed every 3 or 6 months but thelicense cannot be possessed for more than 2 years. After the 2 yearsdue date, the license holders may need to restart the whole drivinglesson procedures from the beginning.

    Probationary Driving License (PDL)New drivers are subject to the 10-point KEJARA demerit point system,

    where points will be deducted according to the types of traffic infractions.

    License will be revoked after a probationary license holder accumulates10 demerit points.

    A probationary license may be upgraded to a full competent driving
