ObjectivesCreate a new logo for a company or personal use, and made a matching business card and letterhead. A design that is consistent with business card and letterhead. Use appropriate typography rulesUse basic tools of InDesign and Illustrator
ProcessI started by created a company with a theme and purpose to design accordingly. I then drew up severeal choices, and chose the simplest version. I decided to go with a flat simple look. I used a cir-cle, and spaced the word zulu in the middle to fit.

Objectives Create a letterhead and business card to match. Design that is consistent throughout designs Use basic tools of InDesign and Illustrator.
ProcessI used the same logo and color scheme as the business card, and place it in the upper left hand corner. I decided to put the information there as well to balance out the logo on the bottom. With the bottom logo, I changed the opacity to 12% to be a watermark on the page.

ProcessI started with sizing the logo so that it fits with the web page. Then I focused getting all the infor-mation on the page with the HTML. After that, I added design to the page with basic CSS.

ProcessI was first provided with the content and pictures for this flier. I then created different sketches of possible designs, and picked my favorite out of those. I started the design by getting the largest shapes in the space and then filled in with the con-tent. I created a continuing theme with the circles and added interest with various text sizes.

ProcessI did thumbnails of several ideas and chose my favorite three. I started them by doing the general shape and then added the type. I shaped the type to fit the shapes and also made sure that there was complementing fonts.

This brochure was created to display something of our choosing. I was told to create the idea, the logo, and the brochure. This is a trifold brochure.

ProcessTo start, I came up with the idea of the brochure. I created a logo that fit the theme, and created a color scheme. I then gathered pictures and infor-mation. Before I began, I created guidelines to help with layout. I then laid out the information on front and back, along with pictures.

ProcessI started this poster out by finding the quote to get an idea of a theme for the design. After choosing one from the poem Touch of the Masters Hand and found two pictures that I felt would convery this message. Using Photoshop, I enhanced the coloring of the pictures so they matched, and also blending the two pictures together. I then plaecd my text in a spot that was appropriate.

ProcessI started by looking for a picture of high quality in a magazine, and chose the frosted apples. I then used the publisher view on Microsoft Word to add in the shapes and text. I used both the background and the text to create the flow of the ad. To get the right color, I used the eye dropper tool.

ProcessI thought of an idea that I wanted to do, and since I love Charles Schulz, I chose a quote from him. I put pieces of popcorn on my coffee table and ad-justed the settings of my camera to get the effect I wanted. I then put it in iIlustrator to put the purple background and yellow type.
