Final Phase

It’s a wrap!

It is Finished

It has been a long journey but the house is now finished and ready for new owners. Much has been accomplished since the last slideshow featuring the basement.I took some outdoor shots that show the new porch and the driveway.

Outside PicturesThe driveway is much wider than I thought. While it is not in great shape I seal coated it so it will look fresh. A foot of sod was removed from each side of the drive to expose all of the asphalt.

From the StreetI replaced the solar light on the post with a bigger one and it does work. I also added house numbers to the post and both sides of the mailbox.

Another Look

New House Number Board mounted to Wall

The PorchTotally rebuilt. The header, beams and posts were rotted. Rain took its toll over the years. White siding matches the new soffit and fascia put around the entire house.

Added these protective chimney caps to keep varmints out.

Look from the KitchenAll new drywall and trim. The windows are new and seal well.

A walk through ..All of the carpets were cleaned by Stanley Steemer.

Running a dehumidifier to keep things dry. Auto drains into floor drain of the future laundry. No empting required.

Still need a cover for the electrical panel. One is coming. Will be White and look like a cupboard door.

That’s It

That’s it. Now for a buyer. Total invested in the job…. Anyone want to venture a guess?
