Music Through Time

By: Carrah LeBoon

IntroductionThere are many different kinds of music, some that

are very old (like Primitive music) and others that are more recent (like Hip Hop music).

This presentation highlights specifics about different kinds of music and provides audio examples of them.

Primitive and Ancient Music• Passed from teacher to student.

• Information was attained from archeological evidence - nothing was written down.

• Other instruments includes scrapers, roarers, rattles, woodwind and string

• First instrument (other than the voice), was the flute.

• This type of music is very different and is not something that I would listen to.
