Gold Field Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Vill. Chhainsa, Ballabgarh, Faridabad is

first medical college in the district of Faridabad being run by Gold Field Shiksha Sanstha. This is the

prestigious society established since 1985. Society has keen interest in spreading education, health care

and knowledge to the public at large. To promote education, society has different institutions in various

disciplines. Society is running Medical, Engineering, B.ed, M.ed, BCA, BBA, MCA and MBA Colleges

besides two English medium senior secondary schools. Gold Field Institute of Medical Sciences &

Research is approved by MCI and affiliated to Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak

with annual intake of 100 students.

Gold Field Institute of Medical Sciences & Research is situated in lush green campus of 25 acres

with a state of art 400 bedded hospital which caters to about 100 surrounding villages with a population

of 26 lacs and provides medical health facilities with 5 ambulances to cater the needs of far flung area

patients. The College and Hospital have highly experienced Principal and Medical Superintendent with

senior teaching faculty. The hospital has 20 bedded casualty, 10 bedded ICU, 10 bedded ICCU, 5 bedded

Nursery, 5 bedded PICU and NICU and provides facilities to around 650 OPD and 280 IPD patients per

day. The hospital has well equipped CATH lab and radiology dept with MRI, CT scan, Digital X-ray,

Colour Doppler and USG machines. The hospital is equipped with fully computerized advanced

laboratory and blood bank which provides 24 hrs services. Hospital has centrally air conditioned modular

operation theatres with facility for laparoscopy and all types of advanced operations of Orthopedics, ENT,

ophthalmology and general surgery. Hospital has facilities for audiology and speech therapy under fully

equipped ENT department.

The College has well ventilated laboratories for all preclinical and paraclinical departments. There are two large spacious air- conditioned lecture theatre for teaching students. There is a air conditioned library with internet facility. The college campus has well ventilated/ air-conditioned hostels for Boys and Girls separately.

B.R.S. Dental college was established in the year 1992 by Late Sh. Baldev Krishan Ji and was the first private dental college to come up in Haryana. With an intake of 60 undergraduate students and eleven post graduates students per year, the college is accredited with sixteen batches of graduate students and two batches of post graduate students in five clinical specialties till date, all of whom are doing well in their profession.

The Dayanand Anglo Vedic society made a trust with destiny 124 years ago for the spread of

Trust entered the field of medical education and health care in 1986 when it established Maharishi Dayanand Maternity and General Hospital and the J.N. KAPOOR D.A.V. Yamuna Institute Of Dental Sciences & Research Village-Gadholi (Yamuna Nagar) has recently been permitted to take a batch of 100 BDS students by Govt. of India/Dental Council of India from the session 2012. The Institute strategically located on the NH 73/14 kms from Jagadhari. This college is surrounded by more than 120 villages within a radius of 10kms. The campus spread over 6.5 acres, is pollution free and environment friendly. The surroundings afford a relaxing atmosphere essential for quality learning and meaningful exchange between students and faculty. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

A fully equipped Air Conditioner mobile van fitted with 2 dental chairs and units with X-ray facility is being run by the college to conduct check up and treatment campus in the adjoining areas. More than 5000 patients have already been benefitted from this service and this is an on going activity. The campus provides information on various Dental diseases and prevention in schools at the village level under the School Health Programme, medical check-up such as nutrition status, blood pressure and blood sugar levels screening is also routinely carried out in the campus.

A well equipped Central Dental OPD with ultra modern, state of the art equipment is fully functional. More than 150 patients are being examined and treated daily for various dental diseases. This OPD is backed by most advanced radiology section having Digital OPG, RVG and X-Ray Machine, Laboratories for various dental and Medical subjects have been established and equipped with complete range of equipment, instruments and material for providing quality education.

CHAPTER III

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

i) He/ she should attain the age of 17 years or more on 30-12-2014. The age shall be determined as

per entry in the Matriculation/Secondary school or its equivalent examination certificate. ii) The candidate should have passed Sr. School certificate examination10+2 of Board of School

Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with atleast 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together (40% marks in respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Backward class or Special Backward Class of Haryana State) and 45% marks in case of Physically handicapped candidates and must have also passed the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.

Note:- 1. Admission through counseling to MBBS/BDS courses will be based on merit in

AIPMT – 2014 (All India Pre Medical/ Dental Entrance Test – 2014) as per

direction of Government of Haryana Department of Medical Education and Research

Notification no.16/14/2014-6HB-IV dated 30.05.2014 (Annexure A) which is part and

parcel of the prospectus. Also please refer to Chapter VIII ‘Process for admission to

open merit category’.

2. The list of examinations recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examinations of Board of School Education, Haryana is available in the Academic Branch of the University.

DURATION OF COURSES

1) The course of studies leading to the award of Degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of

Surgery (MBBS) shall last for a minimum period of five and half academic years including one year compulsory rotatory internship.

2) BDS course is of 5 years including one year compulsory rotating internship.

is not refunded/adjusted within 15 days the relevant institution will be liable to pay

Bank interest as well as penal interest to the said students as laid by RBI.

CHAPTER - VI

HOW TO FILL THE APPLICATION FORM

1. A candidate seeking admission to the MBBS/BDS course is required to send his / her application

on the prescribed form appended in the prospectus.

2. The candidate is required to go through the prospectus carefully and acquaint himself / herself

with all the requirements with regard to the filling of the application form.

3. Application form should be filled in English Only.

4. The candidate shall fill-up the application form in his / her own handwriting in the block letters

written neatly and legibly with blue / black ink within prescribed columns.

5. Overwriting / cutting / erasing in the application form may lead to rejection of the form and

should be avoided. Any error arising on this account shall be the responsibility of the candidate.

(It is advisable to first fill in a photocopy of the Form and then the main document.)

6. The Candidate should write his / her complete address in the Application form for further

correspondence. Pin code should be given in the space provided for the same. It will be the

responsibility of the candidate to ensure that he / she gives his / her correct address. The

University shall not be held responsible for any loss or any delay of communication in transit or

for an incorrect address given by the applicant.

7. The last date of receipt of application form duly completed in all respect is 01.08.2014 up to

5:00 PM. No grace period will be allowed.

8. Candidate should write his / her name, father’s/ mother’s name in the capital letters as given in

Matriculation / High School Certificate or the Board.

9. Date of birth - Enter the date, month, year of birth as per the English calendar and as recorded

in the High School / I.C.S.E / Class X or its equivalent certificate.

10. Candidates are requested to put their signature in the box given at the bottom of the

photograph. Writing full name as signature in the box in capital letters would not be accepted

and the application form is liable to be rejected.

11. Candidate should firmly tie or staple the application form and enclosures.

12. Request for change in any particular in the application form once submitted shall not be

entertained under any circumstances.

13. Incomplete application form or form with overwriting will be rejected.

14. Candidates are advised to check the University website www.uhsr.ac.in regularly for any

subsequent amendments made from time to time or rescheduling.

CHAPTER - VII

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS

The application form duly completed in the candidate’s own handwriting, should reach the Controller

of Examinations, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak on or before 01.08.2014 upto

5.00 PM. It can be submitted personally also. The University takes no responsibility for any postal delay

in receipt or loss of application in transit.

The application form must be accompanied by attested photo copies of:

(a) Matriculation Certificate/High School Certificate/ICSE/Class X or its equivalent certificate as

proof of date of birth.

(b) Original Certificate having studied in class XI and class XII.

(c) Attested copy of certificate having passed in qualifying examination i.e. 10+2.

(d) Three copies of self attested photograph taken within one year preceding the date of

submission of application form. The photograph should be firmly affixed to the application form

with adhesive (gum) and should not be pinned or stapled.

(e) Certificate of good conduct from the Head of Institution last attended.

(f) Certificate regarding claim for category issued by the competent authority should be attached.

(g) Copy of the result of AIPMT - 2014 on the basis of which All India Merit/ State Merit/ Score etc.

(h) Haryana Resident Certificate if claimed.

Note: All the selected candidates shall be required to deposit above original certificates with the

institution where they get admission. These will be returned after completion of the course.

However, if a candidate withdraws his/her candidature, then these will be returned immediately

after that.

GENERAL INFORMATION

1. The cost of prospectus – cum – application form will not be refunded under any circumstances.

2. Any attempt on the part of a candidate, his parents or relatives to canvass or bring influence to

bear upon the competent authority, directly or indirectly for securing admission will lead to

disqualification.

3. The candidate is admitted on the basis of information submitted by him/her. If, at any

subsequent stage, it is discovered that any portion of the information provided by the candidate

is incorrect, he/she will be removed from the Institution and all fees and other dues paid / liable

to be paid by him/her till the date of such removal shall be forfeited / charged. Any further

action, as deemed suitable, may also be taken by the institution against such student.

4. The application form, should be filled in carefully in block and legible letters and signed by the

candidate. All claims made in the application must be supported with documentary proof.

Application form which is incomplete in respect of the required particulars or is found lacking in

the essential documents will be rejected.

5. In case of any ambiguity in the rules, the interpretation of the same as decided by the

competent authority shall be final.

6. A student who violates the above conditions willfully or otherwise shall be liable to expulsion.

7. Instructions/direction to modify / change the condition(s) can be issued prior to the counseling.

8. Objection, if any about the contents/conditions of the eligibility mentioned in the prospectus

can be raised in the form of a representation to the Competent Authority before the start of

counseling.

9. All admissions are provisional i.e. subject to their registration with the Pt. B.D. Sharma

University of Health Sciences, Rohtak after completing necessary requirements as per

rules/ordinances.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. The authorities do not undertake any responsibility for the delay or loss of form or

correspondence pertaining thereto during transit (postal / courier).

2. The application form / prospectus will not be returned.

3. Applications which are incomplete or without enclosures will not be considered.

4. The candidates placed in the merit list provisionally must produce all the documents in original

along with their attested copies at the time of counseling.

5. The Counseling Board shall have the power to call for any document from the candidate in

support of his / her claim and reject any certificate not considered found valid.

6. The decision of the Counseling Board in this regard shall be final.

7. No judicial proceedings will lie against the competent authorities.

8. Application form received after the due date will be rejected.

9. Any change will be notified on University website (www.uhsr.ac.in) only.

10. Application form received after the due date and time due to any reason including postal delay

will be rejected without any intimation to the candidate.

11. The selection for admission will be treated as cancelled, if the selected candidate does not join

the college on the stipulated date fixed by the Counseling Board.

12. If any candidate or his / her parents or guardian found to have submitted any false undertaking/

certificate, not only the candidate’s admission will be cancelled but the person filing the

undertaking will also be liable to be prosecuted in accordance with law.

13. The rules here are only provisional. These may be changed/modified without prior notice.

Candidates can’t make claims on the basis of information given in the prospectus.

14. Furnishing of false information or concealment of facts would disqualify the candidate from

admission, if already admitted. If considered necessary, legal action may also be taken against

such a candidate.

CHAPTER - VIII

METHOD OF SELECTION AND ADMISSION

1. The counseling for admission to MBBS/BDS course will be held in the Committee Room, Director

Office, Pt. B. D. Sharma PGIMS, Rohtak.

2. The candidate will be required to produce all the original documents/certificates/marks sheets

etc. at the time of counseling. Under no circumstances, will any relaxation be allowed to the

candidates as regards appearing in person before the counseling board on the fixed date and

time and producing the requisite original documents/certificates/ marks sheets etc.

3. The candidates will be called for the counseling before the board according to their respective

merit and will be entitled to exercise their choice regarding the course and college according to

the availability of the seat(s) at their respective merit at the time of counseling. The choice of

the course and college by the candidate at the time of counseling shall be taken as final. The

admissions will close on 30-09-2014 as per the mandate of the Supreme Court of India.

4. In case of a tie between two or more candidates having equal Marks/Merit, the inter se ranking

of such candidates shall be determined by the following factors in the following order of

preference:-

a. Candidates with higher aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the

respective qualifying examination.

b. Candidates older in age.

5. During subsequent counseling(s) if any the course/ Institution will be allotted as per the merit of

the candidate depending on the availability of the seats on that particular day.

6. Candidate who fails to attend the Medical Examination on the notified date(s) will forfeit the

claim for admission and placement except permitted by the competent authority under special

circumstances.

7. The name of the student(s) who remain(s) absent from classes for more than 15 days at a

stretch after joining the said course will be struck off from the college rolls without giving any

notice.

PROCESS FOR ADMISSION TO OPEN MERIT CATEGORY

i. The admissions will be first made on the basis of the Haryana State Merit of AIPMT - 2014

conducted by the Authority notified by Government of India.

ii. The relative merit, among such candidates desiring to seek admissions shall be drawn as per the

merit of AIPMT - 2014 in the Haryana State for all such candidates who have cleared the AIPMT -

2014 with or above such distinction as has been declared as minimum eligibility criteria of

proficiency for granting admission. In case, AIPMT - 2014 candidates of State Merit are not

available then the admission will be made from the All India AIPMT - 2014 Merit list.

iii. In case such AIPMT - 2014 qualified candidates are not available in sufficient numbers to meet

the requirements for admission to MBBS and BDS such seats remaining unfilled due to non-

availability of AIPMT - 2014 qualified candidates shall be filled up by available other candidates

selected on basis of their respective relative merit in the qualifying examination based on the

aggregate of marks obtained in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

iv. Details of the admission process for various courses is as follows:-

MBBS Preference of admission as below

1) Haryana State merit of AIPMT 2014

or

2) All India Merit of AIPMT 2014

or

3) Qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 (total marks obtained in

Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

BDS Preference of admission as below

6) Qualifying exam i.e. 10+2 (total marks obtained in

Physics, Chemistry & Biology)

Note: The Director General, Medical Education & Research Haryana will be the final Appellate

Authority in all cases of admission related disputes for all institutions and decision, in case of

any dispute, made by him shall be final.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CURBING RAGGING

Ragging in an educational Institution is banned and any one indulging in ragging is likely to be punished

appropriately, which may include expulsion from the Institution, suspension from the Institution or

classes for a limited period or fine with a public apology. The punishment may also take the shape of (i)

withholding scholarships or other benefits, (ii) debarring from representation in events, (iii) withholding

results, (iv) suspension or expulsion from hostel or mess, and the like. If the individuals committing or

abetting ragging are not / cannot be identified, collective punishment can be awarded to act as a

deterrent.

The following will be termed as the act of ragging:-

Any conduct whether by words spoken or written or by any act, which has the effect of teasing, treating

or handling with rudeness any other student(s), indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which

causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension

thereof in a fresher or junior student (s) will not do in the ordinary course and which has the effect of

causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique of a

fresher or a junior student.

As per the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 16.05.2007 which is reproduced below:

“If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given

liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him from

the institution.”

Moreover, DCI has taken a very serious view of incidents of ragging in Dental Colleges and directed to

incorporate the following provision in the Admission Broucher vide their letter no. DE-167-2008/a-3441

dated 29.07.2008:-

“If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned students shall be given

liberty to explain and if his explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him from the

institutions”.

The candidates who are admitted in the College would be required to follow all rules and regulations in

letter and spirit, conduct themselves in an orderly manner and maintain the best decorum, failing which

suitable penal action would be taken against them.

NOTIFICATION [Issued under Section 3 and Section 4 of the Haryana Private Health Sciences Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission,

Fixation of Fee and Maintenance of Educational Standards) Act, 2012]

Subject:- Procedure for admissions to MBBS & BDS in Private Un-Aided Medical & Dental

Educational Institutions – Academic Session 2014.

1. The Governor of Haryana is pleased to notify following admission procedure to Graduate Degree

Course i.e. MBBS & BDS for the year 2014 onwards in the Private Medical and Dental Educational Institutions in the State of Haryana.

2. The Governor of Haryana is further pleased to notify that the procedure laid herein under this Notification shall apply to all the Private unaided institutions falling within the purview of the Haryana Private Health Sciences Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission, Fixation of Fee and Maintenance of Educational Standards) Act, 2012 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act’ in this Notification) [a list, along with the details and allocation of seats available therein, of known institutions is appended to this Notification as Annexure to this Notification. It is obligatory for any private unaided institution falling within the purview of the Act and not finding a mention in the said Annexure to immediately inform the Director General, Medical Education & Research, to be included in the said Annexure]. Any admissions made in exception to this Notification under the circumstances as elaborated above shall not be acknowledged as ‘validly admitted students’ in terms of the Act and shall remain liable to the provisions of the Act in the said regard to the said extent. Any institution not finding a mention in the said Annexure and not adhering to the provisions of this Notification and yet admitting students to the courses as mentioned in this Notification must intimate to the candidates being admitted about this provision of this Notification.

3. The Governor of Haryana is further pleased to notify that 50% of the Undergraduate seats will be of open Merit Category and the remaining 50 % of the seats will be Management Category out of which 15% of total seats will be in the Non-resident Indian (NRI) category for private unaided Medical/Dental Institutions in the State.

4. Process for Admission to Open Merit Category

i. The admissions will be first made on the basis of the relative merit in the All India Pre-

Medical/Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT – 2014) conducted by the Authority notified by

Government of India.

ii. The relative merit, among such candidates desiring to seek admissions, shall be drawn as per

the merit of AIPMT – 2014in the Haryana State for all such candidates who have cleared

the AIPMT – 2014 with or above such distinction as has been declared as minimum

eligibility criteria of proficiency for granting admissions. In case, AIPMT – 2014 candidates

of State Merit are not available then the admission will be made from the All India AIPMT

2014 Merit list.

iii. In case such AIPMT – 2014 qualified candidates are not available in sufficient numbers to

meet the requirements for admission to MBBS & BDS such seats remaining unfilled due to

non-availability of AIPMT – 2014 qualified candidates shall be filled up by available other

candidates selected on basis of their respective relative merit in the qualifying examination

based on the aggregate of marks obtained in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

iv. Details of the admission process for various courses is as follows:-

v. The prospectus and forms for applying in the General/Open Merit Category of seats for

admission to Private Health Institutions will be issued by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of

Health Sciences Rohtak and will be available with the University.

vi. The applications for admission to General/Open Merit Category of seats shall be received by

the Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. The University should ensure

that the application form is submitted with three attested photographs of the candidate taken

within one year preceding the date of submission of application form.

vii. The Counseling for the candidates of General/Open Merit Category of seats will be

conducted by Pt. B.D Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak and held at

Pt.B.D.Sharma, PGIMS, Rohtak.

viii. The choice(s) of courses/institutions shall be exercised by the candidate at the time of

counseling/interview.

ix. Following shall be the composition of the Admission committee:-

i Director, PGIMS, Rohtak Chairperson

x. The Director General, Medical Education & Research Haryana will be the final Appellate

Authority in all cases of admission related disputes for all institutions and decision, in case

of any dispute, made by him shall be final.

xi. The candidates applying for seats in the Open Merit Category on the basis of AIPMT - 2014

qualification should submit their result of the AIPMT - 2014 as per Haryana state Merit/ All

India Merit.

xii. The Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences shall prepare a merit list of the

candidates appearing for the counseling on the basis of AIPMT - 2014 result of Haryana

State Merit and All India Merit as also based on the relative merit of qualifying examination

for such candidates who have not qualified the AIPMT - 2014 test but are likely to be

considered for admission (see sub clause iii above).

xiii. Candidates applying on basis of AIPMT - 2014 should fulfill the eligibility criteria for being

granted admissions as fixed under AIPMT – 2014.

xiv. In case of a tie between two or more candidates having equal Marks/Merit, the inter se

ranking of such candidates shall be determined by the following factors in the following

order of preference:-

(a) Candidates with higher aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the

respective qualifying examination.

(b) Candidates older in age.

xv. The allotment in the allocation to the Institution/ College shall be made by the ADMISSION

Committee as per merit list prepared by Pt.B.D.Sharma, University of Health Sciences,

Rohtak on the basis of the AIPMT - 2014 merit of the candidate in the State list/ All India

list or, as the case may be, on the basis of the relative merit in the qualifying examination

(see sub clause iii above). The choice of the Institution/ College by the candidate at the time

of the counseling shall be taken as final.

xvi. Personal appearance in the counseling/interview of the candidate shall be compulsory.

xvii. Any candidate who is admitted during the academic session in the present year in any

Institute/Course at any place may opt for admission by submitting a sworn declaration at the

time of counseling that he/ she surrenders the earlier seat. However he / she can avail such

opportunity only if the 2nd counseling in the State is yet to take place so that the seat may not

go waste in the State.

xviii. In case there remains any vacancy under any category in any institution after the first round

of admissions/counseling made in terms of this Notification, a second round of counseling

shall be held. In case, the seats still remains vacant, such seats shall be filled up by the

respective institution at their own level by adhering to the directions of the Government

of India, the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India or any other

regulatory Statutory Body as the case may be and by following any fair, suitable and

transparent process such as on the basis of merit of the AIPMT - 2014 or relative

merit in the qualifying examination or on the basis of any other Common Entrance

Examination authorized by the State Government or by following any other fair and

transparent criteria. Candidates seeking admission under this dispensation can apply

directly to the concerned institution. However, even under this dispensation, no

admissions can be made after the last date prescribed for making admissions.

xix. Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak may fix and charge processing fee

for counseling and further, determine and charge the cost of the prospectus, etc.

5. Admission to Management Category

i. Admissions will be done for Management Category in a fair and transparent manner by the

institution by adhering to the directions of the Government of India, the Medical Council of

India and the other respective councils or regulatory Statutory bodies, as the case may be

and by following any fair, suitable and transparent process such as on the basis of merit of

the AIPMT - 2014 or relative merit in the qualifying examination or on the basis of any

other Common Entrance Examination authorized by the State Government or by following

any other fair and transparent criteria, in that order.

MBBS & BDS Common Entrance Exam held by the Private

Medical College/ Institution as authorized by

ii. Candidates interested in seeking admission under Management Category shall apply

directly to the institution in the Performa/Form prescribed by the respective institution.

iii. The Prospectus and the Forms for applying in the Management Category of seats for

admission to Private Health Institutions will be issued by the respective institution.

iv. The Private Health Institutions will widely publicize the place of sale of prospectus, the last

date of application and admission and other relevant information.

v. Prospectus will be available with the private institutions or at any other place authorized by

the Association of Graduate Medical/Dental institutions in the State.

vi. Counseling for Management Category Seats will be held in the respective institutions under

the close observation of the Observer appointed/detailed by the Director General, Medical

Education & Research, Haryana.

vii. Left over seats under NRI category shall also be filled up under the Management category.

6. Fee structure for all categories of seats.

i. The fee will be payable on annual basis at the time of admission.

ii. Fee will be deposited by the successful candidates to the respective institute in the shape of

demand draft. The fee shall refunded/adjusted if candidate is shifted from one institution to

another in the subsequent counseling on operation of the waiting list. If the said fee is not

refunded/adjusted within 15 days, the relevant institution will be liable to pay Bank interest as

well as penal interest to the said students as laid by RBI.

7. Admission to NRI Category

Category I : Actual NRI candidates who originally belonged to the State of Haryana. Category II: Children/Wards of NRI who originally belonged to Haryana State.

Category:III: Actual NRI candidates who originally belonged to an Indian State and Union Territories other than Haryana.

Category VI: Children/Wards of NRIs who originally belonged to an Indian States and Union Territories other than Haryana.

i. If sufficient numbers of eligible candidates under first category are available then they will be

admitted first even if students under subsequent category are higher in merit.

ii. The NRI students will have to give a bank guarantee/surety bond for the balance of fee, if they

opt to pay the fee in installment as provided.

iii. Any seats remaining vacant under NRI category till last date of admission shall go to the

Management category.

iv. It will be obligatory on the part of the University to provide registration number to all candidates

once duly admitted.

v. Merit should be the priority for NRI Seats. The merit should be as per total marks obtained in
