I took the masthead and then copied this onto the top of the contents page.

I took another location shot image for the contents page and then edited this to black and white.

I took a close up of a female as an additional image, I edited the brightness of this photo and placed it on the contents page.

After editing the image to black and white I then cropped it and placed it onto the contents page.

I took a medium shot of two females as a ‘band’. I did this on location in a swimming pool to make it seem edgy. I then edited reduced the hue and saturation of this image to make it accompany the black and white main image on the page.

I changed the colour of the shapes at the end of the headers, the titles on the headers, and the borders all to the same red creating a running red, grey, black and white colour scheme. This helps to create the image that magazines aim for to ensure that their product is recognisable.
