1. Samples were collected by ARCADIS and submitted to Pace Analytical Services Inc. (Pace) for analysis of PCBs and total organic carbon (TOC) and to Test America, Burlington (Test America) for analysis of TOC (to provide duplicate TOC results for EPA). As agreed by EPA and GE, TOC results given in table represent the averages of the TOC results reported by Pace and Test America.2. ppm - parts per million.3. NA - not applicable.4. ND - analyte not detected. Number in parenthetical is the associated reporting limit.5. Tier II Data Validation was performed on the EPA split samples collected and sent to Test America.QualifiersAG - Aroclor 1260 is being reported as the best Aroclor match. The sample exhibits an altered PCB pattern.AF- Aroclor 1254 is being reported as the best Aroclor match. The sample exhibits an altered PCB pattern.PB - Aroclor 1221 is being used to report an altered PCB pattern exhibited by the sample. Actual Aroclor 1221 is not present in the sample, but is reported to more accurately quantify PCBs present in a sample that has undergone environmental alteration. PE - Aroclor 1248 is being used to report an altered PCB pattern exhibited by the sample. Actual Aroclor 1248 is not present in the sample, but is reported to more accurately quantify PCBs present in a sample that has undergone environmental alteration. J - Indicates that the associated numerical value is an estimated concentration. * - Value not within control limits.

TABLE I-1WATER QUALITY MONITORING

FINAL COMPLETION REPORT FOR THE SILVER LAKE AREA REMOVAL ACTIONGENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY - PITTSFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS

Notes:1. Unless otherwise identified as an EPA Split, samples were collected by ARCADIS and submitted to Pace Analytical Services Inc. for analysis of unfiltered PCBs and total suspended solids (TSS). EPA Split samples were collected by EPA and submitted separately for analysis.2. Tier II Data Validation was performed on the EPA Split samples.2. ND - Analyte was not detected. The number in parentheses is the associated reporting limit.3. ppb - parts per billion; ppm - parts per million; cfs - cubic feet per second4. Field duplicate sample results are presented in brackets.5. No sample was collected at the MON-1 location from 1/4/13 to 3/27/13 due to the presence of ice on Silver Lake.6. Not Analyzed - Due to amber glass bottle for PCB analysis was broken upon receipt.7. The velocity profile used to estimate the flow in the channel to the Outlet to the Housatonic River was revised once the channel configuration was altered during construction. The revised curve is based on a limited amount of data collected during construction (8 points), and represents channel flow that, relative to normal conditions, is altered a weir system (with stop logs), in-channel-wide impermeable turbidity curtains, and other possible obstructions associated with the ongoing construction activities. This revised curve can be used to estimate the flow in the channel starting on October 12, 2012 and going through the present date.

Data Qualifiers:AD - Aroclor 1242 is being reported as the best Aroclor match. The sample exhibits an altered PCB pattern.AF - Aroclor 1254 is being reported as the best Aroclor match. The sample exhibits an altered PCB pattern.AG - Aroclor 1260 is being reported as the best Aroclor match. PD - Aroclor 1242 is being used to report an altered PCB pattern exhibited by the sample. Actual Aroclor 12442 is not present in the sample, but is reported to more accurately quantify PCBs present in a sample that has undergone environmental alteration. PE - Aroclor 1248 is being used to report an altered PCB pattern exhibited by the sample. Actual Aroclor 1248 is not present in the sample, but is reported to more accurately quantify PCBs present in a sample that has undergone environmental alteration. B - analyte was detected in the associated method blank.NJ - Estimated Aroclor - 1242 value due to Aroclor-1242 considered tentatively identified & presumptively present.J - Estimated PCB values due to detected concentration lower than the reporting limit but above the Method Detection Limit (MDL).

Notes: 1. Major tick marks along the horizontal axis are at midnight. Turbidity measurements were recorded every 15 minutes. 2. Exceedances above 50 NTU at MON-2 were also observed during non-work hours or during storm events on7/24, 8/5, 8/17, 8/27, 9/5, 9/8, 9/22, and 9/30 (in 2012) and 1/31, 5/11, 5/22, 5/29, 6/5, 6/7, 6/14, 6/24, 7/3, 7/7, 7/11, 7/12, 7/13, 7/14, 7/19, 7/20, 7/21, 7/23, 7/24, 8/6, 8/7, 8/8, 8/9, 8/13, 8/15, 8/16, 8/17, 8/18, 8/30, 8/31, 9/1, 9/3, 9/4, 9/5, 9/6, 9/7, 9/8, 9/10, 9/11, 9/12, 9/13, 9/14, 9/15, 9/16, 9/17, 10/4, 10/12, 10/13, 10/17 (in 2013). As these exceedances were caused by weather events and/or field conditions not not attributed to active construction, the observations have been removed from the above Figure. 3. A water quality sample was collected due to the exceedance above 50 NTU at MON-2 on 10/3/12, 1/17/13, 4/15/13, 6/4/13, 6/17/13, 6/18/13, 6/20/13, 6/26/13. 4. Malfunctions in the real-time turbidity monitor (used to collected the date presented in this Figure) indicated turbidity levels exceeded 50 NTU at MON-1 and/or MON-2 at certain times during and outside of work hours. At such times (or before work was started the following day), manual readings and/or visual observation were performed at MON-2 to confirm that turbidity levels were below the early action level of 35 NTU. The most extraneous of these exceedances have been removed from the above Figure.
