Cold storage should be made up of 150mm thick Puff sandwich

panels with quality refrigeration system and with adequate power backup Temperature maintenance at-20 C to -25 C at all times Air lock truck docking system at the dispatched dock Strict hygiene standards to be followed Product storage of at least 24 hours after production Palletization storage system with FIFO and handled by battery operated forklifts

STORAGE Preferably sandwich panel Cold Store Temperature between-20C to-25C Air lock truck docking system at the dispatched

dock Air curtain /and plastic curtain at Cold Store and

ante room Should have sufficient space for handling FIFO

system in cold store and ante room Should be suitable for palletization and fork lift

operation

LOGISTICS Refrigerated trucks of medium and small size with

good quality insulation and refrigeration system with temperature -20C to-25C

Refer truck should not carry material of more than three distributors

Vendors should be supplied with FOW only

Eutectic FOW with large capacity to hold temperature -18 to -20 for at least 8-10 hours

Should be fitted with energy saver compressor with low energy consumption

Sufficient storage space i.e deep freezer or cold

storage with multiple chambers of 500-1000 cft each must be available with distributor

Power backup facility FOW storage deep freezer which can maintain

temperature -18 C in case of power failure for 8-10 hours

The stock received from the distributor should be stored for at least 12 hours for retailing and vending

Good space for parking trolleys and vehicles with FOW and with proper shade and electric points

LOGISTICS Small commercial vehicle like Tata Ace or Mahindra Pickup or Tata

207 fitted with eutectic FOW of at least 30 CFT

Freezer of good quality preferably eutectic and insulated with puff or glycol

The freezer should be fitted with energy saving compressor Separate freezer for ice cream at least if not for separate brand Smart and efficient sales man /delivery boy with each vehicle Power backup

Distribution to the retailers only through FOW Efficient maintenance team to ensure speedy maintenance of

freezer/trolley GPS system at all the cold storages for live time monitoring of

temperature Company owned small and medium vehicles or dedicated vehicles

from the transporters GPS system in all the company owned vehicles and transporters
