The main focus within her work is on culture and orientalism. Brief Create a creative CV for Jessie to send to photography studios she admires, with the hope of getting a job. Samantha Walker worked on a portfolio separately so attention was given to ensure that the CV was consistent. Tom Squire created the current branding for Jessie last year so we both worked to his brand guidelines. Target Audience/Tone of Voice Professional photographers and studios that Jessie finds inspir- ing and relevant to her practice. The CV must be created to a suitable size so that it can be handed out personally or posted. The tone of voice must be professional but appealing and unique to make Jessie’s work stand out from the crowd.

    Research involved looking at pop up structures and how they work inside a card or in between paper in order to apply this to the design of the pop up card.

    The idea was to create a pop up card that would have information about Jessies practice and also her as a person on the back. In the middle there is information about the particluar shoot that is featured as a pop out design to accentuate her photography. These are initial mockups testing out the mechanisms.

    In order to keep the CVs consistent with Sams designs for Jessies portfolio, the logo was foiled on the front cover which adds luxury to the design. Screen printing the information on the back was challenging and led to a lot of miss prints, so the decision was made to stick on an insert in white which Jessie preferred anyway.
