Lantern Parade project support and volunteer development (2 contracts), North Staffordshire
We are looking for two people to support the development of Newcastle under Lyme Lantern Parade and the Newcastle Lanterns Supporters’ Club.

Based in Newcastle-under-Lyme in North Staffordshire, these project contracts require two freelance contractors to provide support for creative project management, volunteer sup-port and volunteer development beginning ASAP. The parade itself is booked for December 12th 2015 with public and community workshops running from end October. Please note we intend to appoint 2 people, not run these contracts into one.
Contract 1: To work alongside the producer & artistic director to learn and support cre-ative project management, and to develop volunteer support and management.
Approx 8-12 weeks @ 1 day per week depending on experience; project fee £1200.
Contract 2: Volunteer/organisational development and support
To work alongside the producer and NLSC committee to secure the ongoing training/devel-opment role of NLSC. This contract will support the 2015 parade & future needs. Develop-ing a series of local ‘lantern champions’, raising local skills, developing local partnerships and enabling the growth of the lantern parade in future years. Additional support for eval-uation, funding as appropriate.
Approx. 24-30 weeks @ 1-2 days per week, depending on experience and range of tasks; project fee £6000
