•Apply the Hierarchy of Pain Methods in the assessment of pain in a variety of patient

•Describe the rationale and principles of multimodal analgesia.

•Discuss pain management techniques and dosing regimens for ff acute and

post-operative pain in chronic pain patients.

•Outline Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) as they relate to pain

management.

•Identify addiction risk in pain medicine.

•Describe the role of regional anesthesia in chronic intractable pain and cancer pain.

•Summarize the care and management of continuous peripheral nerve blocks and

•Evaluate treatment options for vaff rious chronic pain conditions including
