2015 Leisure, Touring & Safety Overview

• Launch of first FIM-AFRICA Tour of Nations• Motorcycle tours on the increase• Increase in awareness and safety throughout Africa• New rules & regulations set in Kenya become effective• The CBA Africa Concours d’Elegance held

• The Uganda Bikers Association is highly organised and fully active with numerous rides and activities taking place, not many reports coming out of Uganda.

• The Namibian Motor Sports Federation are the controlling body for motorcyclists in Namibia,

• They undertake regular adventure and leisure trips , rider safety and rider training are going on throughout the year.

• A biker rally is held by the Harley Davison Club of Namibia every year and funds donated to charity.

F U T U R E P R O J E C T S

• To promote more adventure tours and cross border trips for road and adventure bikes.

• To organise the biggest gathering of road and adventure bikes in Victoria Falls in 2017

• This will be a FIM-AFRICA event and will be hoping for overseas participation
