I’ve always been interested in non-traditional art making practices like graff or whatever, but I’d have to say I’ve been creating art for 7 years. 5 of em seriously. Whenever I

Exports and Racing Whites. I was always a little buff fiend so I never cared about colour too much but I always

Colour definetly isn’t everything.

I remember when my mind first wandered into the land of scribble and I haven’t been the same since. It’s us kids, and no one else. Most can’t understand or even begin to grasp the magnitude of the hold that our lifestyle choices has over us. We go hungry, sleep deprived and risk our lives for the act of getting up. Some more than others.

It’s always been a mystery; the alter egos, the late nights spent walking through the darkness working the art of escape. Yet each and every time we stand back and get that desired photo, it still doesn’t fulfill our addiction.

We want more. It will never stop. They might introduce harsh and unjust laws or even go to the extent of putting us behind bars, but as long as there is greyspace there will be Graffiti. Take it as pure luck that we don’t put our minds to a negative cause, because if we did, painting your town red would be the last of your troubles.Thinking back on my time spent creating Graffiti I’ve come to the realisation that it hasn’t gotten me anywhere. I think most will agree with me when I state that doing what we do gives us greater pleasure than sex and a lot of the time it’s this very choice that finds writers quietly making their way down a train line, or climbing a fence whilst a

moist alternative waits at home.

We are addicts, addicts of adventure. Neither before nor since I started simply writing my name everywhere have I found such adventure. We are out for the guts and grime of our city and if that means total outcast from your society then so be it.
