Metal woven wire cloth in combination with AGXX® technologyTheThe AGXX® system is a physico-catalytic operating principle to prevent water based liquids from biological contamination. The operating principle is based on the formation of a micro-electrical field on the surface of the ae-aqua filter rings. These rings are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel woven wire cloth and have an electroplated coating containing precious metals. The form ensures a highly effective surface. Haver & Boecker produces the metal woven wire cloth and forms the ae-aqua rings for Feindrahtwerk Adolf Edelhoff. There the rings are electroplated to the AGXX® technology.

The operating principle of the ae-aqua ringsAs soon as theAs soon as the AGXX® mesh comes into contact with water based liquids, a chemical reaction starts developing free radicals in situ. The outer cellmembrane of germs will be destroyed in contact with the antimicrobial plated mesh. Due to the instability of the free radicals they disintegrate immediately into water and oxygen. The operating principle is registered as Biocidal Active Substance „Free radicals generated in situ“. Use of AGXX® mesh in water based solutions stabilizes the microbial quality of the liquids and increases the lifetime of used fluids, hence minimizing the loss of quality in the production.
