The film

titleThe title of this film is called the last breath .I named the film this because nobody will survive. I want my film to be original and realistic as possible . Another reason why I decided to call my film this name because the cause of many deaths in this film will be drowning .

Setting

The film is set on a boat travelling to Fiji from the Solomon Islands. This reign is mainly deserted because the islands are isolated. Only cruise ships visit these islands but are rarely seen .Which will make the film more harsh and spellbinding. Which is the purpose of my film to create suspense and drama.

The narrative and sub-plot

Narrative The narrative is a cruiship heading to the Solomon

islands.

3000 people are aboard the St. Bernadette. For

the last six days their has been big tsunami`s occurring across

the pacific ocean .Unfortunately the cruiship on

3rd day of it journey , they are caught in the

tsunami .The tsunami lasts up to 1 minuet and has caused huge damage to the ship. The waves were very strong that made the ship lose its balance and tills it side ways .The machinery that keep the cruiship function is destroyed. The waves killed 2990 people . Out of a 3000 only 10 are alive in the ship. The ship is the middle of the ocean : no nearby ships and no source of hope. The ship starts to sinking slowly to the seabed.

Sub-plotThe sub-plot is a mother and daughter are having a feud.

Feud is all about the mother walking away from her daughter 13 years ago. Her mother wants to build bridges with her daughter. However her daughter is making it hard to succeed that aim. Her daughter still has hatred towards her .However the mother redeems her self by saving her daughter and telling the truth why she really left.

Characters

The first character I will have is a typical teenager. She is stylish , smart and has a bad attitude. Her attitude is a barrier that is built up by pain and suffering she has faced without her mother..Her father and her suffer living in an uninhabitable house , discriminated and physically abused by people. Her father is disabled and all her life she has been helping and taking care of him while her mother was off scene. Her mum returns back into her life when her future starts to become more positive. The teenager is also smart thinking and never fooled by people. She is intellectually honest and is strong.

The second character will be a Self centred mother. She keeps denying that she walked out on her daughter and she is trying to understand why her daughter is angry. However she does admit that she had a fault in her daughter up bringing.

The stars that will be casting in this film .

Annasophia Robb who starred in Charlie and the chocolate factory and the bridge to Terabithia.

She will play the teenager girl Hazel. When she was acting in Charlie and the chocolate factory. She was playing “violet” she had a lot of attitude portraying the book character .Which is what I am looking for to platy Hazel Matthews.

The other Star will be Camilla belle who starred in 1000bc. she will play the hopeless mother Velma. I choose her because her young looks will already indicate that she is young , she is immature and careless. Also this actress takes her roles very serious

Stars casting in this film.Emma Roberts shall be my co-star. She shall play a

girl called “Erica". Erica befriend troubled Hazel and become very close through out the movie. Emma Roberts has started in many movies such as big love , Aquamarine, Virginia, Adult world , twelve and many more.

She is very well known and loved this will give a good first impression of the movie .For she is one of the best actresses in Hollywood.

My next co-star will be Kat winslet. She shall play Erica's mother called Franciscka. Franciscka doesn't approve of hazel attitude. Kate winslet was the star of the sensational, award winning Titanic. So she has experience in working in natural disaster films.I choose her because she looks middle aged which is what I am looking for, Also she is well known and a favourite of the critics.

Themes

The biggest theme is cooperate greed the ship was designed and cut safety regulations for the company was bankrupt. The captain of the ship had orders to still proceed the journey to Fiji even if the their has been numerous tsunami`s in the pacific ocean .However the company in charge of the cruiship are stubborn that the ship will be attacked .Also nature’s revenge for violent storm has been frequently occurring every day. The year of 2222 where storms are more frequent and are more ferocious. They occur every where the world there is no place to hide .However the human still thrives and are going on with normal life. The death toll in the world is 500000000 and counting .People

Small Themes

The small theme is anger and hatred because the teenage girl is angry with her mum and also hates her for what she has done to in the past. The other theme is love everyone in the film dies with a loved that could either be family, friend, boyfriend or girlfriend. The other theme that will be represented is despair and pain, this will be represented by people dying and losing loved ones. Also seeing dead bodies and horrific scenes is part of despair and pain.There will also be love because Erica and Hazel has developed a close friendship also Family love will also be presented because their will be a lot of compassion towards people in the movie.
