My movie's genre is a suspense-thriller so I have chosen low key lighting for it. In the first scene I have used an dark and red light combition which connotes both depression because the character is committing suicide, in which depression is one of the key factors, and a dark and bloody view because there is going to be a death scene in that room and the character shown is committing suicide in that film. key lighting because it gives an depressed look and feel to the audience and it helps them visualise and feel the depth of what the character is going through and also what the movie is targeted towards. Low key lighting is also used to connote the dark phase which the character is going through i.e. The brain condition which he is going through which is causing him to commit suicide and etc, and also the difficult, hard and sorrowful condition the character is going through. The low key lighting is also used because it connotes to the

audience that it is a horror film which they find out it isn't in the end through a suspense twist in the end.
