Media studies Jared Bowley Film Deconstruction Taken 2 Taken 2 is a 2012 English-languag e Frenchactionthriller film directed by Olivier Megaton which stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace. It is the sequel to the 2008 film Taken and was released on 3 October 2012. This shot I have specifically taken due to the fact it shows what company this film has beentitle by, 20 th CENTURY FOX, which is a well know Film Corporation. This camera angle that I have stopped it at kind just shows the viewer what corporation it is made by and as music in the back ground it sounds like the type of music that would present something as magnifice nt. As well as that they use several bright light that shine in various directions towards the sign which could make it stand out to be something spectac ular which can be quite intriguing to the audience. In this second still picture I have chosen to show this because it has wrote the corporations title in writing and also the fact that when the music dims down in the background you get this picture which can show us that this production is heaven like due to the fact they have a low angle shot looking up at the corporation title with a beautiful sky background. Both these shots has been print screened though a tracking shot where they start for the top looking down on it and then finish the shot looking up there production. In the first opening scene it has and shows that the corporation that entitled this film is show as one of the first main titles in the movie itself. At the start of the film where the titles are shown, it shows a tracking shot which is played with some intense music in the background. It sounds as if you are already half way through the film; it gives you that type of impression. The tracking shot is also followed up by t itles, as shown; the shot repeats itself several times such as the pictures it shows titles of E.G. the directors of the film and then straight after a 3-4 second clip of the location and where about this film is going to take place. This action film would be aimed at people that like action movies weath er you’re a teenager or an adult this film is just based around people that like explosions which could also involve mystery solving as well. The shots that i have spoke about which include the tracking shots are away of justifying a heart pulse in some ways as in a action film as the story line builds up your pulse gets faster and in the start of this tracking shot scene its starts showing much fast images of locations and titles.
