Each section is required to perform one (1) entry only. 2. Each Grade Level (Curriculum) shall conduct initial screening and will choose two groups who will advance for the next round. 3. Final competition on August 20, 2015. II. Contest Mechanics 1. The contest is open for all CNHS students. 2. Each group shall consist of a minimum of 10 students and maximum of 15 students. 3. Performance on stage is given a time limit of 3-5 minutes. A point shall be deducted for every exceeding minute. 4. Each group can perform an original composition or a re-make of the lyrics and should be written in Filipino. 5. Any musical genre can be used for the jingle. (Pop, Rock, Rap, Reggae, etc., or combination) 6. Each group should provide their own musical accompaniment during the competition. A cappella or live musical accompaniment is also allowed. 7. The winners will be chosen by the panel of judges based on the following criteria: Criteria for judging: A. Creativity/Originality (Catchy Melody) 30% B. Musicality (Rhythm, Balance) 25% C. Lyrical Content (Clarity of Message) 10% D. Volume and Blending of Voice (Harmony) 15% E. Costume and Make-up 10%

FILIPINO JINGLE MAKING CONTEST MECHANICS

I. Elimination Round
