TUESDAY MATHS IDEAS/EXAMPLE:

You can use the sheets provided below, or simply build your own towers. How accurately can your child count? What number can they count accurately to when working independently? Children need to learn that they say 1 number each time they touch 1 cube – often you will find they count quick and point slow or they point quick and count slow.

If you don’t have cubes at home, you can count any objects – could you make towers with tins, toilet rolls, boxes etc.
