The world has experienced and seen a good number of revolutions and the newest in this list is the technological or we say the digital revolution. If industrial revolution introduced mechanisation to the world, the digital revolution of the late 20 th century is its acme. Fiinovation believes technology has been such a 'revolutionary phenomenon' that now it has become a part of everyone's daily 'social' activities. Fiinovation that latest technology, gadgets and wires (also wireless technology) have now become the standing parameters or criteria to judge one's social standing and literacy rate about digital technology. Even countries race to achieve maximum digitalization of their nation, 'Digital India' being the latest in news. India boosts of 354 million internet users, with whooping 60% accessing it through mobile phones. With respect to the current data of internet users available and jump in internet users, Fiinovation believes that India is on a right track towards achieving digitalization. Digital, however, is a very cold word for me. Calculations and digits are all that defines 'digital' for me. You ask me why? Firstly, its foundation is 0s and 1s, secondly, it is all about measuring the space and volume of the content and your device which mostly goes on to 'byte' the speed of everything. Thirdly and most importantly, the information that reaches us through digital medium doubts me as they go through digital tweaking and editing to strike our emotional chords. Fiinovation comprehends that the digital revolution has undoubtly, been a successful revolution, wherein, everyone is a part of it, directly or indirectly. It has allowed a new sense of socialization to come about through its virtual and global platform. Fiinovation that the importance that it holds amongst us is so prominent that often the degree of development of a nation is linked to its accessiblity to the poor as it is foreseen that digitalization would help fill the hunger pangs of our children or the debts of the farmer. Currently, around 354 million internet users, a proud moment for India! But would it really want to ignore access to education to 81.5 lakh children with digitalizing the classrooms? Fiinovation comprehends that the technology will allow us to raise awarness about such issues and touch the right chord of people's emotion but would it be able to leave a lasting impression on them? Despite the feedom to package it right, technology fails to create a lasting impression on its recipients. This inefficiency of technology to allow you to 'touch' (pun intended!) fails to 'touch' you. Fiinovation believes that if we look at our revolutions through the century, they were deep and strong which are talked about even today, written in books, shared through social media and captured in celluloid as they were felt deeply and strongly by the revolutionaries and people. Revolution is rich and aged, so is 'social'. When they come together, social revolution' becomes even stronger, even richer thus, leaving our newby, 'digital' with a whole lot of catching up to do. Well, all I can say at the end, you can take the digital out of the social but you cannot take the social out of the digital. Viva la vida, social revolution!

Fiinovation contemplates: “I can't wait to be old and wise”, sighs Technology!

The world has experienced and seen a good number of revolutions and the newest in this list is the

technological or we say the digital revolution. If industrial revolution introduced mechanisation to

the world, the digital revolution of the late 20th century is its acme. Fiinovation believes technology

has been such a 'revolutionary phenomenon' that now it has become a part of everyone's daily

'social' activities.

Fiinovation that latest technology, gadgets and wires (also wireless technology) have now become

the standing parameters or criteria to judge one's social standing and literacy rate about digital

technology. Even countries race to achieve maximum digitalization of their nation, 'Digital India'

being the latest in news. India boosts of 354 million internet users, with whooping 60% accessing it

through mobile phones. With respect to the current data of internet users available and jump in

internet users, Fiinovation believes that India is on a right track towards achieving digitalization.

Digital, however, is a very cold word for me. Calculations and digits are all that defines 'digital' for

me. You ask me why? Firstly, its foundation is 0s and 1s, secondly, it is all about measuring the

space and volume of the content and your device which mostly goes on to 'byte' the speed of

everything. Thirdly and most importantly, the information that reaches us through digital medium

doubts me as they go through digital tweaking and editing to strike our emotional chords.

Fiinovation comprehends that the digital revolution has undoubtly, been a successful revolution,

wherein, everyone is a part of it, directly or indirectly. It has allowed a new sense of socialization to

come about through its virtual and global platform. Fiinovation that the importance that it holds

amongst us is so prominent that often the degree of development of a nation is linked to its

accessiblity to the poor as it is foreseen that digitalization would help fill the hunger pangs of our

children or the debts of the farmer. Currently, around 354 million internet users, a proud moment for

India! But would it really want to ignore access to education to 81.5 lakh children with digitalizing

the classrooms?

Fiinovation comprehends that the technology will allow us to raise awarness about such issues and

touch the right chord of people's emotion but would it be able to leave a lasting impression on

them? Despite the feedom to package it right, technology fails to create a lasting impression on its

recipients. This inefficiency of technology to allow you to 'touch' (pun intended!) fails to 'touch'

you. Fiinovation believes that if we look at our revolutions through the century, they were deep and

strong which are talked about even today, written in books, shared through social media and

captured in celluloid as they were felt deeply and strongly by the revolutionaries and people.

Revolution is rich and aged, so is 'social'. When they come together, social revolution' becomes

even stronger, even richer thus, leaving our newby, 'digital' with a whole lot of catching up to do.

Well, all I can say at the end, you can take the digital out of the social but you cannot take the social

out of the digital.

Viva la vida, social revolution!
