Fifth Grade Curriculum Map Aligned With TNREADY State Standards (TNRSS) 2016-2017 by Shellie Plumley Paris Special School District This Curriculum Map provides a projection for fifth grade reading and language arts using the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Journeys Textbook. Common Assessments are included for each six weeks. Standardized Test Review during the last 6 weeks period is aligned with TNREADY State Standards. Switch Materials with 4th grade to teach the Journeys Unit which contains the reading material related to social studies standards. For some reason 4th and 5th are switched in the textbooks.

Another possibility is Novel Studies. We have a large selection of novels on different reading levels.

Incorporate review for TCAP during these next weeks prior to testing.
