This event will be a spectacular show for one night only. Tickets are available at the cashier office. Encourage one another When children write their exams, parents experience the same learning process, to live through every summary, every diagram, every spoonful of vitamin and every ‘please wake us at five’ request, and parents survive through it. During that time, one should realise the importance of encouraging the human spirit. Sometimes it’s more important than oxygen or even a slice of bread. The right word at the right time has a powerful effect. Encourage the tired young brain and body that is repeatedly encouraged to sit down again at the desk littered with books. Words are the most powerful weapons we possess. JUBILEE CONCERT Food and beverages sold on the night We would like to inform you of the amazing food and beverages that will be sold on the night of our concert. Our school’s tuck shop will be selling sweets, juices and chips. Our Grade 11’s will be selling rib burgers and popcorn. Roast Bean Republic will be setting up a coffee café. Table of costs Grade 11 Learners Roast Bean Republic Popcorn R6 Cappuccino R22 Rib burger R25 Americano R18 Hot chocolate R24 Rooibos tea R16 Giant chocolate chip cookie R18 All shops will be open from 16:30. Bring the whole family for a bite and a hot beverage before the show. DVDs / flash sticks If parents would like to order a high definition recording on a flash drive or a low definition recording on a DVD it will cost R200. FOUNDATION PHASE SPELLING BEEThere will be a Foundation Phase Spelling and Sound Bee round 2 on Thursday 24 May.

GRADES 4 – 7 SPELLING BEE There will be a Spelling Bee round 2 for Grades 4 – 7 on Friday 25 May.

GRADES 4 – 7 MATHEMATICS CHALLENGE ROUND 2There will be a Mathematics Challenge round 2 for Grades 4 – 7 on Wednesday 30 May.

GRADE 7 ASTRONOMY QUIZ ROUND 2There will be a Grade 7 Astronomy Quiz round 2 on Thursday 24 May. Good luck and we hope that they do well and proceed to the next round.

GRADE 9 PARENT WORKSHOP ON SUBJECT CHOICESThere will be a Grade 9 parents workshop on subject choices in the hall on Wednesday 30 May at 18:00.

ADMISSIONS 2019Registration for 2019 Grades R-9 is open until 31 May 2018. Application forms may be collected from and returned to the office by an adult.

LEARNERS BEING COLLECTED AFTER SCHOOLPlease do not leave your children on the pavement after school. If they are not collected timeously after trips and tours, the school may have to drop them off at the police station for their safety and protection.
