General Findings• Cash Book– Maintained on double entry system but proper columns
are not available……Hands-on Training is needed in all places.
– Not closed on monthly basis or on annual basis.– Balances are not drawn at any point of time, in the
absence of the same it is not possible to tally with the bank pass book.
• Combined cash book and bank accounts are maintained for both Primary schools and CRCs which need to be maintained separately.
• Single account of RMSA and SSA in GGSSS (School-1)
Procurement
• Normally no quotations are obtained for purchases of the value of Rs. 3000 (State Govt. prescribed ceiling)
• Less than this value single 2of procurement is followed.
• In school no. 3 we found quotations were obtained for procurement fire extinguisher and it resulted in huge savings in the purchase. This points to the advantages of obtaining quotations for all purchases.
