THE RESPONSE On November 13, 2008 - 1600 High School Students, and 500 College & University Students will gather for the Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals’ 4th annual “Field to Fork".
In a tailor-made programme, students will hear from top level industry speakers and participate in a highly interactive Trade Show & Career Fair illustrating all aspects of the industry including; production, manufacturing, distribution, restaurant operations, hospitality and marketing.
THE CHALLENGE Many students perceive the foodservice industry as a temporary means of earning money, rather than a career option that provides lifelong opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Our goal is to combat this negative perception and provide a step by step guide, inspiring young people to explore the limitless pathways to fulfilling careers the industry has to offer.
