Welcome to ‘Field Living,’ the first of TSSi’s new style of catalogs! TSSi will be producing a series of

mission- and task-specific catalogs throughout 2013. Our focus is to provide you with products and

services that are new and unique as quickly as possible. To do this, we have designed task-organized

Equipment, and this catalog offering items to improve your Field Living. We will also be providing you

with an annual updated TACOPS® catalog, because at TSSi we are constantly being asked to develop

catalogs to introduce you to the vast array of suppliers we work with and the diverse types of products

we can provide. In 2013, TSSi will also be combining catalogs onto CD, starting with a TACOPS®/

Reference Guide/Field Living CD. This will be available in the Spring of 2013.

TSSi, Tactical and Survival Specialties, Inc., was founded by Bill Strang in 1980 as a sole proprietorship and incorporated in 1990. The company began by supporting the US Military Special Operations community, and now also serves law enforcement, first responders and retail customers worldwide.

Many of you know TSSi from the large catalog that we used to produce. Our plan for 2013 is to produce five catalogs, starting with this one. Our next catalog will be Operational Support Equipment, followed by Clothing and Protective Equipment, a Holiday catalog, and finally, a revised tacopS® catalog at the end of 2013. This is an ambitious goal. However, we want our customers to have the option to view paper catalogs as well as browsing our website, www.tssi-ops.com.

TSSi has the capability of providing pre-positioning services, and the ability to flex storage capacity to several hundred thousand square feet for surge requirements or in support of special projects. The company has agreements with freight carriers that enable us to ship from our facility any day of the week with 12-hour notice for emergency situations. Made with a urethane coated fabric, this bivi is waterproof. The job of the Bivi Bag is to protect the user from rain, snow and wind when a tent is out of the question.

Ground Pads

Wiggy’s ground pads are unique because the padding is a polyester fiber and not foam. The exterior fabric of Wiggy’s is textured, waterproofed 300 denier polyester. The padding is Densified Polyester Fiberfill. The fiber is completely unaffected by water and will inflate without a valve. Two 1” web belts are positioned at one end, so you can roll it up tight as possible and cinch it down. The pads are also available as mated sets. With a mated set, each side stabilizes the other when movement occurs.
