EVERY POINT WE SCORECAN BE DIFFERENCE IN VICTORY OR DEFEAT.COMPONENTS OF THE PAT/FG: THERE ARE 3 COMPONENTS OF THE EXTRA POINT AND4 COMPONENTS OF THE FIELD GOAL.(1) THE EXECUTION OF THE SNAP, HOLD AND KICK.(2) THE PROTECTION(3) "FIRE" CALL(4) THE KICK COVERAGE (FIELD GOAL ONLY)

    (1) THE EXECUTION OF THE SNAP, HOLD AND KICK- THE TOTAL TIME FOR THESNAP, HOLD AND KICK SHOULD BE 1.3 SECONDS. THE EXECUTION OF THESNAP AND HOLD MUST BE PERFECT SO THAT WE NEVER AFFECT THE TIMINGOF THE KICKER.(2) THE PROTECTION- WE MUST BUILD A WALL WITH OUR PROTECTION ANDPREVENT ANY PENETRATION FROM THE BLOCK TEAM. WE MUST STEP ANDPUNCH FIRMLY TO THE INSIDE, STAYING SQUARE TO THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.KEEP YOUR HEAD UP AND DO NOT LUNGE FORWARD.(3) "FIRE" CALL- IF THERE IS A MAJOR MALFUNCTION BETWEEN THE SNAP ANDTHE HOLD, THE HOLDER WILL CALL-- "FIRE", "FIRE"-- AND WE WILL EXECUTETHE FIRE PASS.(4) THE KICK COVERAGE- WE ONLY HAVE TO COVER ON FIELD GOALS. YOUSHOULD ALWAYS BE ALERT TO COVER ON ANY LONG FIELD GOAL ATTEMPT ORIF THE FIELD GOAL IS BLOCKED.

    IMPORTANT RULES FOR EXTRA POINT & FIELD GOAL1. ANY ELIGIBLE NUMBERED RECEIVER LINED UP IN AN INELIGIBLEPOSITION MUST REPORT TO THE REFEREE PRIOR TO ENTERING THEHUDDLE OR ASSUMING HIS POSITION ON THE PAT!FG TEAM.2. ANY INELIGIBLE NUMBERED RECEIVER LINED UP IN AN ELIGIBLERECEIVER POSITION MUST REPORT TO THE REFEREE PRIOR TOENTERING THE HUDDLE OR ASSUMING HIS POSITION ON THE PAT! FGTEAM.3. ONCE DESIGNATED AS ELIGIBLE OR INELIGIBLE, THAT PLAYER MUSTPARTICIPATE IN THE SAME POSITION UNTIL LEGALLY WITHDRAWNFROM THE GAME, EXCEPT IN THE FOLLOWING SITUATIONS: (1) ATOUCHDOWN IS SCORED, (2) A KICK IS COMPLETED, (3) A PENALTY ISADMINISTERED, (4) A TIME OUT BY EITHER TEAM IS CALLED, OR (5) THEQUARTER ENDS.4. A BLOCKED KICK THAT DOES NOT CROSS THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE MAYBE ADVANCED BY EITHER TEAM.5. A PARTIALLY BLOCKED KICK THAT CROSSES THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGECAN NOT BE ADVANCED BY THE KICKING TEAM UNLESS FIRST TOUCHEDBY THE RECEIVING TEAM.6. HANDS MUST BE INSIDE THE FRAME OF THE RUSHER. WINGBACKSCANNOT PUSH FROM BEHIND TO WIDEN THE OUTSIDE RUSHER.

    HUDDLE! NO HUDDLE RULES1.WE, GENERALLY, WILL NOT HUDDLE BEFORE A PAT OR FG. WE WILL HUDDLE IF APENALTY OCCURS DURING THE PLAY, IF A TIME OUT IS CALLED, OR IF INSTRUCTED TODO SO FROM THE SIDELINE.NOTE: REMEMBER TO REPORT TO THE REFEREE (IF IT APPLIES TO YOU)2. IF WE HUDDLE, THE HOLDER WILL SET THE HUDDLE 8 YARDS BEHIND THE LINE OFSCRIMMAGE AND OFF TO THE SIDE AWAY FROM THE KICK SPOT. THIS WILL ALLOWTHE KICKER TO SET UP FOR THE KICK. THE HOLDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COUNTINGOUR PLAYERS. THE HOLDER WILL ALSO MAKE THE HUDDLE CALL: FIELD GOAL (ORPAT) ON CENTERS SNAP-READY-BREAK.WE WILL HUDDLE IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER:

    @0@@@@0@@3. THE FIELD GOAL TEAM SHOULD BE READY TO GO ANY TIME THE BALL IS ACROSSMID-FIELD. BE AWARE OF THE DOWN AND DISTANCE, THE CLOCK, AND OUR TIME OUTSITUATION.4. WITH NO TIMEOUTS AND THE CLOCK RUNNING DOWN, THE FIELD GOAL TEAM MUSTBE PREPARED TO SPRINT OUT ON THE FIELD, LINE UP IMMEDIATELY, AND GET THEFIELD GOAL ATIEMPT OFF AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. WE MUST BE ABLE TO GET THEKICK OFF WITHIN 12 TO 15 SECONDS (DEPENDING ON HOW FAR WE HAVE TO RUN TOSET UP). THIS SITUATION WILL BE CALLED "QUICK FIELD GOAL". THIS SITUATIONRARELY COMES UP, BUT WE MUST BE PREPARED FOR IT WHEN IT PRESENTS ITSELF.ON THE LINE1.THE HOLDER CHECKS TO SEE IF THE TEAM IS READY, THEN HE CHECKS WITH THEKICKER.2. WHEN THE HOLDER FEELS THAT EVERYONE IS READY, HE WILL CALL:"READY --SET".ON "READY" CALL, ALL EYES SHOULD GO TO THE BALL.AFTER "SET" CALL, THE BALL WILL BE SNAPPED WHEN THE CENTER IS READY.3. MOVE ON THE CENTERS SNAP. FOCUS ON THE BALL AND DO NOT BE DRAWNOFFSIDES.4. IF THERE ARE NOT 11 MEN ON THE FIELD, THE HOLDER SHOULD CHECK WITH THEBENCH TO SEE WHETHER WE WANT TO TAKE A DELAY OF GAME PENALTY OR CALLTIME OUT.5. IF THERE IS A BAD SNAP OR MIS-HANDLED SNAP, THE HOLDER WILL CALL:" FIRE,FIRE", AND WE WILL EXECUTE OUR FIRE PLAY. OFFENSIVE LINEMAN CANNOT GODOWN FIELD ON A PASS.

DO NO MOVE YOUR OUTSIDE FOOT. YOU ARERESPONSIBLE FOR THE AREA INSIDE OF YOU. NEVER BLOCK OUT. PUNCH, WITH THEINSIDE HAND, THROUGH THE TOP OF THE NUMBERS OF ANY RUSHER THROUGH YOURAREA. RECEIVE THE SNAP AND PLACE IT QUICKLY ON THE KICKSPOT WITH THE LACES AWAY FROM THE KICKER AND WITH THE PROPER TILT. BEALERT TO CALL "FIRE" ON ANY MIS-HANDLED OR BAD SNAP. YOU ARE THE RIGHTSAFETY IN COVERAGE ON A FIELD GOAL ATIEMPT.KICKER: TAKE YOUR PROPER SET-UP AND THEN CONCENTRATE ON THE KICK SPOT.LET THE HOLDER KNOW WHEN YOU ARE READY.
