FM 1740B2F has a good ber package to go
along with a good yield. Ive been recommending
FM 1740B2F in the Winter Garden area since it
came out. I think its a really good early-season,
ast-maturing variety that can save you some water
in an irrigated situation.

Stoneville varieties give me the ability to grow the
longer season cottons without using a lot o plant
growth regulator. Stoneville cotton, in the end, gives
me the yield that Im looking or.

ST 5458B2RF has been our most consistent yielder.
We have yielded in excess o 2,000 pounds per acre
on an entire arm with this variety. I we get the heat
and water on it, it will out yield pretty much anythingelse we have planted. That is why it ts our area.
It does well in the heat and makes a lot o pounds.

We planted ST 5458B2RF because it has nematode
tolerance. We were having some problems with
nematodes and wilt was showing up at the end o
the season. Since we started planting ST 5458B2RF,
we have not had nematode problems.

I have one circle that we planted to FM 2989GLB2
this year as a trial variety since its the rst year
on the commercial market. One o the great
benets is the multiple herbicide technology
where you can hit any resistant weeds or hard-to-
kill weeds, such as morningglories, with Liberty
instead o glyphosate. The variety grew well all
year. Well probably plant more o FM 2989GLB2
next year due to its good Verticillium tolerance.
FM 2989GLB2 is very promising.

TwinLinktechnology oers two-gene Btprotection against
worm pests plus LibertyLink technology that gives ull tolerance
to Liberty herbicide. TwinLink will be stacked with GlyTol to provide
double-herbicide tolerance to Liberty and glyphosate or eective
crop and resistance management. Cotton stacked with TwinLink,
GlyTol and LibertyLink will be a powerul weed and insect
management tool or growers.
It is anticipated that the rst cotton varieties with TwinLink technology will be available in
both FiberMax and Stoneville brands in the United States beginning in 2014, pending
international import approvals.
As the rst-ever cotton with ull tolerance to both glyphosate
and Liberty herb icides, GlyTol LibertyLink stacked technology
gives growers a competitive edge to choose the herbicide and
herbicide-tolerant trait system that will help them to optimize
weed management on their arms. Also available with Bollgard II.
GlyTol trait technology provides tolerance to over-the-top
applications o glyphosate, empowering growers with the
fexibility to select any brand o glyphosate herbicide labeledor use on cotton.
