For 33 years, the Festival of the Vine has highlighted and celebrated the flavors of fall and the bountiful harvest. Celebrate this year, September 5-7. Voted a Top 100 Best Festival in North America by American Bus Association and One of the Best Festi-vals in 2014 Best of the Fox Reader’s Choice Awards this festival is set in the picture-perfect downtown of Geneva, IL and is hosted by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce with support from the City of Geneva.

Our Flavor Fare, full of international and seasonal cuisine pre-pared by 23 Geneva restaurateurs paired with a diverse selection of wines, will be the centerpiece of this year’s celebration. Festival goers can sample excellent food and wine, while enjoying live local and Chicagoland entertainment at our giant outdoor tent at State and Fourth streets. New restaurants, new menus, a whole new culinary experience in 2014.

Food & decorating demonstrations will take place at Fourth and James streets on the side of Geneva’s old courthouse. Let your senses be your guide to the Harvest Demo Stage.

Stroll down James and Third streets to discover Business Booths, Flower Market, Arts & Crafts show, carriage and trolley rides. Many other special events are slated throughout the entire down-town during Festival of the Vine so take time to get acquainted with all Geneva has to offer.

Plan a second trip to sample more of our world-class accommo-dations, one-of-a-kind shops and exquisite eateries.

The Festival of the Vine is supported by various community members. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce thanks all of our volunteers, businesses, sponsors, donors, the City of Geneva and County of Kane for making this harvest festival possible. We also appreciate the advertisers featured in this publication. Shopping locally benefits everyone, so please stop in and support these fine businesses during your visit.

More reasons to celebrate await you at our Christmas Walk and House Tour December 5-6. Be sure to mark your calendars for this holiday celebration complete with a festive house tour, carolers, seasonal goodies and the arrival of Santa Lucia and Santa Claus. For more information about upcoming events call 630-232-6060 or www.genevachamber.com
