“Paper Lantern Craft”

Supplies: Template Paper

Assorted Washi Tape

Glue Dots

Electric Tea Light

Step Two: Fold paper in half horizontally.

Step One: Cut the largest strip off of paper. Save large

strip for later.

Step Three: Cut along the black line. Do not cut through

paper.

Step Four: Open paper and turn it over and decorate with

tape.

Step Seven: Use the thin strip and cut glue dot to attach

the lantern handle.

Step Six: Use large strip that was set aside to cut another

thin strip, also cut one glue dot in half.

Step Eight: Fold and cut the remaining large strip in half.

Step Nine: Take one of the halves and attach it to the bot-

tom inside of lantern.

Step Five: Add three glue dots on the last strip then

connect the two ends creating a cylinder with paper.

Step Ten: Place the tea light in side of lantern and watch it

glow.
