So here we are at the second edition of the Festival Identità e Territorio (Identity and Territory Festival).We believe this to be an important and symbolic fact because it represents the continuity of the course per-sued, a course aimed at enhancing and promoting the Valle Bormida territory.As the organising authority, we of the Matrice Com-mitee are very satisfied to see the renewed enthusiasm, spirit of cohesion and the great effort made by Local Au-thorities, Associations and private citizens in order to create this new appointment. This is tangible proof of the vast network of resourses brought in to play which constitute and represent the aims of our Commitee.

For the 2015 edition we have produced another “What to do calendar” which lists almost 200 events organ-ized by those participating in the Festival, and forms the new cultural programme for the period from June to September 2015. A programme ranging, as ever, be-tween music, theatre, art, the environment, wine, food and folklore.

PENCILS AT WAR. SATIRE AND PROPAGANDA IN EUROPE (1914-1918)BERGOLO (CN)

The exhibition has been provided by the Piedmont Re-gional Council and coincides with the cultural event for schools LAPIS. The exhibition takes place with the co-operation of the European Parliament,and is part of the various initiatives undertaken to commemorate the one hundredth anniversary of the First World War aimed at increasing awareness, especially among the young, of how a new Europe developed from the ruins of that terrible tragedy.
