Ferry Hall Reunion 2010

20
Dear Ferry Hall Alumnae, On behalf of the Ferry Hall Advisory Board of Lake Forest Academy, I cordially invite you to return to campus for Reunion Weekend on October 1 – 2, 2010. I think you will be happy to find a school celebrating a renewed sense of community as it embraces all of its diverse constituencies, most especially Ferry Hall. Join old friends to see the exciting changes on campus and to feel the presence of Ferry Hall in the wonderful history exhibit in Reid Hall, presided over by the real Monty himself! Meet our Ferry Hall Prefect and see the site plans for the new girls’ dorms, which will overlook the lake and formal gardens. Talk with the students and share your memories of our treasured Ferry Hall traditions, including Move-Up Day, still celebrated at LFA today. I can assure you from my own personal experience, they love hearing our stories! There are many special events planned for the Ferry Hall Reunion. To name a few, on Saturday there is a festive brunch scheduled in the Garden Room in Reid Hall, and then it’s off to the Ferry Hall Chapel for a tour. This event has been wonderful the past five years, and it is sure to be even better this year! Most importantly, class committees for milestone Reunions (years ending in “0” or “5”) are already forming and planning events to make the weekend experience most meaningful to you. Take a moment to reconnect with some of your classmates now and encourage them to attend, join your own class Reunion committee, and mark the date on your calendar. Look for information and updates on the LFA website www.lfanet.org/reunion2010. You can also register online at: www.lfanet.org/registerreunion. There will be an updated list of “Look Who’s Coming,” so check in to see a list of classmates who are returning! We look forward to seeing you in the fall!
