Teachers at our school will not be striking and classes will run as normal. Presentation Assembly Next Monday 12th December we will hold our last assembly for the year. This assembly will be held in the infants classroom starting at 10am and will conclude with a shared morning tea. We are requesting that all families bring a plate to share for this occasion. The students would love to see you there as they have been preparing some special items to show you. As this is a formal assembly all students are required to wear their full school uniform. Girls, green shirts with maroon bottoms with their hair tied back and the boys are required to wear their green shirts with grey shorts. Macadamia Castle Our end of year excursion will take place at the Macadamia Castle on Wednesday the 14th December. This excursion will conclude at 12.30 when we will travel back to school for a BBQ lunch. We are requesting that students be dropped off at the Macadamia Castle between 9.15 and 9.30am. We will transport the students back to school for lunch. The teachers are looking forward to spending this fun day with all the students. A permission note is attached. Last Day Water Fun We will conclude our school year with a fun water play day. All activities will be prepared by the teachers. Students are not to bring water pistols or water toys to school. Students will need to wear their swimmers, rash shirt or t-shirt and shorts that can get wet . Please pack a towel and dry clothes to change into. 30th January 2017 Monday the 30th January will be the first day back to school for all students K-6. Reminders will be sent out via the School Stream App. If you are not returning on this day please let us know. This week will be our last preschool reading
visit for 2017. All the students have enjoyed
the opportunities to develop their reading
aloud kills and developing friendships with
all the preschool children.

This year we have created a recycled
Christmas Tree to be displayed at Ballina
Bunnings. Ballina Bunnings are holding a
Christmas family night this Thursday at 6pm.
The most creative tree and decorations will
receive a donated prize.
