Please submit a short application (500 words)before 29 April 2020 explaining how you thinkthis program will be helpful, what you expect itcould offer or achieve, and identifying thelenses you would bring to your participation.Outline your research interests, and tell uswhat you can bring to the work of the pilotprogram cohort. Please include a few thoughts on what one ofthe following mean to you: What is feminism?o What intersectional, life-enhancing andliberating approaches do we bring as feminists to ourfield? What is feminist academia? o What do we want to redefine or reclaim in thisarea? What is a feminist workload?o How do we proactively and intentionally make ourwork align with our values?

ABOUT This feminist mentoring scheme will supportfeminist research and leadership by pairingparticipants with a mentor to assist them invisualising and achieving their career goals.An overarching aim is to encouragereflection on what qualities and strategiesenable feminist scholars and feministscholarship. The scheme will launch in May2020 as a pilot for a larger project in 2021.
We are looking for diverse colleagues whowill help identify what is needed to supportthe long-term learning and success offeminist scholars and scholarship in tertiaryeducation, industry, government or within afaith-based organisation. The time commitment will vary. At minimumwe anticipate, a one-off facilitated session ofup to 3 hours to work together on clarity andfocus of the outcomes mentees identify,responding to email discussions that assessand review the pilot program, and thetimetable of agreed meetings with yourmentor.
