Baptism Information Next Sunday

After the 10am Mass on the first Sunday of every month, we offer an information session in English to answer all your ques-tions about the Baptism of an infant under 7 years of age.

FOUNDATION COURSE 2019 The “Foundations” course for English-speaking parents of stu-dents in grades 1-8 begins Monday, January 28

th at 6:30pm in the

Painted Desert Montessori school gymnasium located just a few meters north of our parish. This course continues for 12 consecutive Mondays and upon com-pletion, we will begin activities with your children who will receive the Sacraments of Confirmation & Holy Communion in December of 2019. The foundation course is for parents only. Do not bring your chil-dren. The course is only for those who enrolled their children last October. The classes are completely full and no more applications will be accepted.

Nos reunimos en el salón San José en el edificio de oficinas. Se invita que asistan los padres y padrinos. Próxima sesión, enero 6.

CURSO de FUNDACIONES 2019 El curso de “Fundaciones” para padres de estudiantes de habla-español de grados 1-8 comienza el lunes, 28 de enero a las 6:30pm en el salón de la parroquia. Este curso dura 15 semanas y al terminar, comenzaremos activida-des con sus hijos que van a recibir el sacramento de confirmación & santa comunión en diciembre del año 2019. El curso de funda-ción es solo para padres. No lleve sus niños. El curso es solo para quienes inscribieron a sus niños en octubre. Las clases están com-pletas y no se aceptaran mas aplicaciones.

If you haven’t picked up your 2019 Sunday Offering Envelopes, they are waiting for you in the hall entrance! If you are not currently using regular contribution envelopes, but would like a box set, please contact the office and request one.

Educación Religiosa NIVEL II Después del descanso de Navidad. Las clases de educación reli-giosa Nivel 2 comienzan el miércoles, 9 de enero al mismo horario. NOTA: Las clases del martes a las 5pm se ha cambiado para el miércoles a las 5pm. ¡Los niños ya están en su año final de preparación y se confirmaran en diciembre 2019! Esperamos verlos pronto.

LEVEL II Religious Education

After our Christmas break, the Level 2 religious education classes resume on Wednesday, January 9

th at their usual times.

NOTE: The Tuesday 5pm classes have now been moved to Wednesday at 5pm. The children are now in their final year of preparation and will be confirmed in December 2019! We look forward to seeing you all soon.

A Christmas Thank-you

Ryan, I would like to thank our parishioners for their Christ-mas kindness, for your Mass at-tendance, cleaning, decorating, cards and gifts, well-wishes, smiles, and your generosity to the Poor Clare nuns in Tonopah as well. Filipino Community Simbang Gabi Thanks

Thank you to all who worked so hard to prepare for the Simbang Gabi Mass held last December 16th. We had a wonderful turn-out, and fantastic choir led by Ar-iel Fabella. Special thanks to all the ladies who cooked, prepared, and served the food afterwards – what a selection! It was a lot of work, and your efforts brought joy to others.
