On the 1st September 2014 we opened the gates to our new Centre. Our 800

children were so excited with the new larger premises of 4,200 square meters,

larger and cooler classrooms, and much more room to run and play.

We have relocated only 5 mins away from our old site, and have not lost any stu-

dents whatsoever, but since our doors have opened, we are continuing to have a

new family every day arrive and plead for enrolment for their children.

Whilst we apologise to most that we cannot accept at this time, we never turn

away those that are starving and in critical situations. After much investigation

we have accepted some children to join our classes, and of course enroll them into

Cambodian Public School and provide guidance for the family.

We have moved to our permanent site

HAPPY TIMES HAD

BY ALL

This little girl on the

right had the nick-

name of ‘sad girl,’

due to her family’s

poverty and situa-

tion, but now as you

can see with family

support and attend-

ing Feeding Dreams

we should change

her name to ‘Smiley.’

OCTOBER MARKS THE NEW KHMER SCHOOL YEAR

As well as the move to the new site, Feeding Dreams staff have been extremely busy with

profiling our students family situations, and discovering children living in dire circunstances

and have not been able to afford to attend or continue formal Khmer Public School or con-

tinue their education to University.

With our team all working hard together, we have been able to find sponsors for many chil-

dren to begin or re-enroll them in Public School or enroll them in University, which of course

often involves issuing Family Books and Birth Certificates as well.

Girls below with brand new school uniforms, some returning to school and some starting

school for the first time.
