Feedback for the implementation of EADIn in the national/ organizational structures of the partner organizations The EADIn project will be implemented within the structures of the partner organizations. The aim was to properly point at the dangers of doping, which are becoming a great risk in the entire sports world. Noble and respectable sport like rowing is no exception. What content was conveyed? General information about fight against doping, dangers of doping, doping control process, therapeutic use exemptions and athlete whereabouts. Which methodologies were used?

AsapartofWADA’sfightagainstdopingweconductedathlete’soutreachprogram.Specialeducational program, which included anti‐doping quiz and informational material, wasavailableforalltheathletesandtheirentouragewiththepurposetotestandimprovetheirknowledgeaboutdoping.

Ambassadorshadachancetocommunicatewiththeworld’sbestrowers,discusswiththemaboutfightagainstdopingandconsequentlyimprovetheircommunicationskills.Webelievethatthiswasagreatexperienceforthemandallofus.
Whatweretheresults?
378athletesandtheirentouragefrom53countriesfromallovertheworldvisitourprogram.Theyallgotalltheinformationtheyneededandlearnedalotaboutdangersofdopingandfightagainstdoping.
Didyoureachthedesiredoutcome?How?Why?
Weexceededourexpectations.SincewewereconductingoutreachprogramforthefirsttimeinSloveniawedidn’treallyknowwhattoexpect.Buttheresponsefromathleteswasmorethanpositivesowehopetoconductmoreoutreachprogramsatfutureevents.
WhatwerethechallengesinimplementingEADIninyourownstructure?
Wedidn’t have any bigger problems.Only problem thatwe hadwaswith communicatingwiththeathletes,whodidn’tspeakEnglishortheyspeakitprettybadly.Butwetriedtodoourbest.
Whatwouldyoudodifferentlynexttime?
Wewilltrytoincludeevenmoreyoungambassadoratourfutureevents,becausewebelievethat thiswas a great experience for them. They shared a lot of their knowledgewith theathletesandalsogotmanynewinformation.
