REPORTABOUTTHEIMPLEMENTATION
Whatwastheaim?
Our main goal was to inform young people about the problem of doping in professionalsport.
Whatcontentwasconveyed?
We presented the case of Andreas‐Heidi Krieger and other doping cases (Pantani, Agassi,Raducan...)insummersports,followedbygeneralinformationondoping(thepresentationofWADA, SLOADO, “What is doping?”, TUE, athletes...).We also made a presentation ofdopingcontrolprocessandweintriduceathletestoallstepsofdopingcontrol.Weshowedtheman equpment for collecting the samples and explained how it is used. In the secondpart,weusedtheconceptofworkshops,withwhichwewantedtomakeyoungathletesandcoachesopenlydiscussabouttheuseofdrugsinsport.Wedividedpeopleinto6groupsand
distributed paper sheets with different tasks all of them concerning on the topic ofdoping.Eachgrouphadabout10minutestotalkaboutthetaskandtogiveclearanswersand explanations. After the discussion each group presented their conclusions toeverybody.Ambassadorsweretheretoguide,supportandmaybehelptopointthemintheright direction to get the general viewon the given issue.After each presentationwehadtimetoanswerthequestionsthatmighthavepoppedup.

What were the impressions of the staff/ trainers/ ADJA?(for eg: how did the addresseesreact to the given information, was it easy to convey the information, were therediscussions…):
Inouropinionthelecturewasveryinteresting.Ithasbeennoticedthatathletesandcoachesdonothavealotofknowledgeabouttheproblemofdoping(exceptfromtheathletesandcoachesofcycling),butwecouldseethattheyhaveshowninterestandcooperationtofindoutnewthings.Inparticular,theinterestandsurpriseofallpresentwasshown.Duringtheworkshopseverybodywastalkingandexchangingtheirviews.Alsocoachesthatparticipatedweresetintheroleofathletes.
Whatweretheresults?
Webelievethatallparticipantswillthinkabutdangersofdopinginthefutureandconsidertheconsequencesinadifferentwaythantheydidbeforeourlecture.
Didyoureachthedesiredoutcome?How?Why?
Wethinkthattheresponsesoftheparticipantsweregood,becausetheyhavelearnedalotnewthings.Wecansaythatourgoalwasmorethansuccessfullyachieved.
