This materials can absorb sunlight and can not reflect light. Other some flexible solar panel use PET which reflective very serious, it cause the solar panel’s output reduce, and this material is much more expensive than the cheap PET, almost the cheap flexible solar panel in the market now use cheap PET.

by the way,PET used on the boat it will twice short the lifespan. ETFE won’t,So if you do not want change the panel in a short time,just choose the ETFE the best.

Flexible solar panels from other brand factory before. Unfortunately, there is big quality problem with the flexible solar panel after installing 6-18 months, the front surface become milky and peeling off. There are air pockets on the back of solar panel after few month as showed in the pictures. As far as we know, These problem of panel are caused by cheap PET Material and immature laminating technology.

Anyway who want cheap shit will got the real .and it’s only for cell, there have EVA /PET/TPT shit of material too.
