Emoluments: The incumbent will be placed in E8 grade (` 51300-

73000) with other applicable emoluments including conveyance, phone, PF, medical reimbursement,

LTC, HRA as applicable to FACT `s employees shall be provided.

Joining time: The requirement is to place the incumbent in

January, 2015. The applicant is to indicate whether he /she can take up the assignment accordingly; if not possible, earliest date that he/she can join is to be indicated in the application.

Job Content: The Chief Operating Officer of FEDO shall be in

overall charge of the Division, which will be functioning as an Independent Profit Centre of The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Ltd., with autonomy in functioning. The COO shall have the required operational and service functions in FEDO under his/her control. The COO shall be responsible for signing MOUs, Collaboration agreements etc. with firms for bidding for jobs including back to back agreements. The COO shall be responsible for Planning, Organising, Controlling and Executing all operations of the Division, to ensure generation of profits. The COO(FEDO) reports to the Chairman and Managing Director, FACT. COO(FEDO) will be headquartered at New Delhi office of FEDO.

The courses offered by Autonomous Institutions should be equivalent to the relevant courses approved / recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE. Candidates presently employed in Central/State Govt. departments/ PSUs / Autonomous bodies with Govt participation/, etc. must apply through proper channel. However they may send advance copies of applications directly. They must produce No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their present employer at the time of Interview, failing which they will not be interviewed. Candidates may take the requisite approvals from the employer before submitting application, so as to ensure that NOC can be produced at the time of Interview. Such candidates, if selected, shall furnish release letter including conduct certificate from the present employer before being allowed to join. Eligibility for calling for interview will be based on the details furnished in the application, declaration made by the candidates and copies of documents to prove eligibility with regard to age, qualification and experience. Hence self-attested copies of all such documents shall be furnished with the application. Documents required are as follows:

• Date of birth - school leaving certificate or birth certificate

• Educational qualifications – copies of degree certificates of each

• Experience – Evidence of experience claimed by the applicant shall be in the form of experience certificate issued by previous employer/s, stating type and nature of firm ( ie., whether public sector, joint venture , subsidiary company , private sector etc., showing quantum of government/public sector participation where applicable), areas of business of the firm, annual turnover for last 2 years , areas of experience of the applicant and duration of experience, whether in management grade, salary scales/ emoluments during the period of experience etc. In the absence of comprehensive experience certificate/s from the employer/s as above, other suitable documents shall be furnished to prove eligibility in all respects.

• Category to which belonging (for exemption from application fee) – Caste/Community certificates for SC,ST as the case may be in the prescribed format attached, disability certificate (for exemption from application fee and age relaxation) issued by a Government Medical Board in the case of PWD candidates (Degree of disability 40% and above). Certificates shall be in either English or Hindi.

Relaxation in age as per rules shall be applicable for PWD candidates.

Incumbents, on appointment, will be paid basic pay at the minimum of E8 scale and annual increments (3%) will be as per rules applicable in the Company. Appointment will be subject to confirmation of Medical fitness. The incumbent shall be governed by the rules applicable for Managerial employees in the Company at the level of General Manager in VIII E8 grade, unless specifically excepted. Mere fulfilling the minimum requirement of qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidates to be called for the interview. Appearing for interview will not confer any right on the applicant for selection.
