Following the September 11th attacks in the United States,
Numerous Air National Guard units were tasked with defending the
Homeland air space. They needed hangars to protect fighter jets
on many air bases in a short period of time. They turned to GSA
Schedules and met their mission having 30 hangars substantially
complete within 30 days of award.

Ancillary R&A Guidelines
Ancillary R&A SINs exclude the following: Major or new construction of buildings, roads, parking lot
and other facilities; Complex R&A of an entire facility or a significant portion of a
facility
Ancillary R&A services performed under a schedule contract shall not include A&E services.
Davis Bacon clauses are included in the schedule Each Agency must comply with his or her agency’s
internal policies when procuring R&A services
