Division 8

Letter from the LTG Hey everybody,

You guys are doing an amazing job with all of the events I have seen! Keep up the good work. Recently, we had our DEC where we elected our new LTG: Glory Holland of Liberty Christian School. I am proud to introduce her and look for her official announcement on the page. As the school year begins to approach its end, remember that Key Club is a year round organization so make sure to have planned events running constantly. We are approaching Valentine’s Day so make sure to spread the love through service!

The present time has one advantage over every other – it is our own. ~ Charles Colton

NEW LTG

1

Glory Holland was recently elected the new LTG of the Division 8 Key Clubs of the Texas Oklahoma District. At the DEC, Glory explained her love for Key Club and told us of just how much it meant to her. Some of her goals for the upcoming year included a focus on growing as a Division and having more interaction between clubs to make us a tighter District since we stretch from the DFW area all the way into Oklahoma.

I am happy to leave this district in her hands and am confident that she will lead you to new places and has ideas that will amaze you! If you get a chance, make sure to congratulate her. Vivian Nichols of Liberty Life (LCS’s school newspaper) interviewed LCS Key Club sponsor, Kathy Hall on the subject and this is what she had to say about the election of Glory: “I am so pleased and proud that Glory decided to take her commitment to service and the Key Club to the

next level. She joins a proud tradition of Liberty Christian lieutenant governors, following in the footsteps of Haylee Smith (2012–2013) and Michael King (2013–2014).”

It is going to be an amazing year!

Unpaid Clubs Suspended

The due date for dues has come and past. All unpaid clubs have now been labeled as “SUSPENDED” until further notice of payment. This is fixable if you find that your club has been suspended. Contact me if you have any questions.
