We will have two groups starting, those who want to drive leisurely and another for those who want to drive their own speed limits”legal of course”. The rally will end at the Rauch’s barn where we will have a short meeting followed by live entertainment by a band called “The Flock”. Jay from Cincinnati Mini plays in the band and they play some great music.This is the same band that played Celtic, Blues and other great tunes at the Cincinnati mini dealership’s Halloween Party. Join us March 6rd for our monthly Motor Inn and Ray. .Everyone seemed to have a good time at out new meeting location, The BackYard Inn. Service was a little slow but all in all I believe it worked out well. We will give it a try a couple more times and get everyone's opinion . . . Winter is a down time for car clubs but we seem to be having fun anyway. Field trips, motor ins and momentum is strong going into spring. Hopefully for the March 6th Rally & Barn gathering we will be blessed with dry mild weather . . . I would like to thank everyone for their hard work & dedication in bringing QCC back to life. We have a great group of MINI enthusiasts and friends sharing good times and making new memories, let's keep it going ! Suggestions are always welcome . . . September 24th Bourbon Run IV: This trip is going to be more detailed after the upcoming board meeting to finalize our schedule for the year. Currently the plans show the drive is planning to visit three distilleries( Woodford Reserve, Four Roses and Jim Beam). Time permitted, we will try to tour all three. The start up time will be 10am in Frankfort, KY

Really big event on March 6 (a Sunday) - Featuring a Observation/Scavenger Rally and later in the day our own special MINI man Jay and THE FLOCK will preform at the BARN at 6pm. Mid Week overnighter You might be able to still get tickets and a room (March 8-9)

The Leprechan Run on March 26 - This has always been a great ride and supports a charity. (Not a totally QCC event)RECAP - February

The Backyard Inn was a super background (with great food) for our monthly meeting. Watch the event schedule for the next meeting, it could move locations month to month. Nancy and I missed the Air Force Museum trip but with Tom leading it had to be interesting. (Thanks Tom for the leadership)....John

WRIGHT PATTERSON AIRFORCE MUSEUM Tom Draper hosted a nice M & M event and there were about

five minis and four miatas in attendance. Tom is a very knowledgeable tour guide through the different hangers. Some of the group stayed with Tom’s tour the whole time and others signed up to see the Presidential hanger, but over all I believe everyone had a great time. A couple cars ended up at City Barbecue for an early dinner.

I am sorry to hear and say that Tom has taken a job in a different city and will not be able to participate in our club events. Hopefully he will come and join us for another drive sometime in
