Wear Red Day! The American Heart Association

(and naviHealth) wants YOU to wear RED to

support a National Awareness Campaign for

Women About Heart Disease. Did you know that

heart disease and stroke kill 1 in 3 women, yet it is

80% preventable? That is more than all of the

cancers combined! Participate & one lucky

In the upcoming weeks, we will be conducting

our annual biometric screenings at

Headquarters (February 9 + 10) but that

doesn’t mean those of you who work outside

of Nashville can’t participate in the fun. All you

need to do is make an appointment to visit

your local physician for an annual wellness

exam. Services that will be provided include

height & weight measurements, BMI

calculations, blood pressure readings, glucose

levels, and cholesterol levels!

What’s better than some friendly colleague

competition? Let’s see who can outwalk the

others in 2016! The colleague with the most

steps at the end of the month will win a prize!

February’s Recipe: Packing a healthy lunch

for work can be just as easy and convenient

as grabbing a bite out of the office for lunch.

Enjoy this month’s recipe with whole-grain

crackers or spread it on whole-wheat bread

for a sandwich!

Curried Chicken Salad with Apples & Raisins: ½ cup low-fat mayonnaise

1 teaspoon curry powder

2 teaspoons water

4 ounces chopped skinless, boneless Grilled

Chicken

¾ cup chopped Granny Smith Apple

1/3 cup diced celery

3 tablespoons raisins

Preparation: Combine mayonnaise, curry

powder, and water in a medium bowl, stirring

with a whisk until well blended. Add the Grilled Chicken, chopped apple, celery, and raisins;

stir mixture to combine. Cover and chill. (1/8 teaspoon of salt optional)
