Marie Heather (Finnicum)Johnson passed away onFebruary 22, 2016 at inGlasgow, Montana. Marie wasborn July 10, 1955 to Tomasand Telma Finnicum inCulbertson, Montana. Shewas the fifh o six children. She attended school inCulbertson where she also became a homemaker and wasblessed with three sons, Michael, Peter, and Chris Portra.Te three boys were the main ocus o her lie until hergrandchildren began arriving. Her days and nights wererom there on all about grandkids.

Troughout her lietime Marie enjoyed gardening,jewelry making, ceramics, various creative arts and crafsand collecting antiques.

Her lie became complete when she met andmarried her best riend and love o her lie, DonJohnson in which she was delighted to gain her twodaughters. Don and Marie began their lie together inPoplar, Montana and rom there ventured on to live andwork in Broadview and Hinsdale, Montana. hey alsoenjoyed living in Alaska (Popo and Prince o WalesIslands) where they traveled and explored extensively.Ater their years in Alaska, Don and Marie returnedto Montana living and working in Frazer and Winnett.

hey recently retired and returned to their amily homein Hinsdale. Marie, along with her husband, Don spent her lietruly dedicated to her amily and riends. She loved theirtravels and caring or her tiny companions Anuk andSugar Baby. Her survivors include two brothers; Tomas (Carol)Finnicum and Brady (Ladonna) Finnicum, three sisters;Joy Finnicum Johnson, Joanie (Mark) Oelke, Laurie(Pat) Wilson, three sons; Michael (Lizette) Portra,Peter (Danielle) Portra, Christopher (Anne) Portra,

two daughters; Leslie (Craig) Vihinen and Lisa (Cyrus)Crabtree. Marie is also missed by twelve grandchildrenand two great grandchildren.

Marie is preceded in death by her parents,homas and helma Finnicum and stepather, WhiteyMarchwick.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February27, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Community o Christ inCulbertson, Montana. Memorials may be made to theHinsdale Community Bank or the Hinsdale AmbulanceService.
