The first international homeopathic conference to be hosted in Egypt. This three day conference, entitled « The Liberating Power of Homeopathy » will be hosting two international lecturers, Dr. Heiner Frei and Dr. Peter Chappell, as well homeopaths from both schools in Belgium and in Egypt. On this occasion we will also celebrate the pairing of the two schools to celebrate the international cross-fertilization and spread of homeopathy.

February 24th: Dr. Peter Chappell will be presenting his system of resonances based on the genus epidemicus approach used by Hahnemann.

Travel to EgyptFrom Europe TUI airlines flies to Sharm El Sheikh on a regular basis. If you book you will need to arrive by February 21th (cost of ticket is +- 140 euros). Of course, you can arrive earlier than this date. Bus from Cairo to DahabWe will be arranging transport by bus to and from Cairo to Dahab, for those coming from Cairo. Please book and inform us as soon as possible for better organization and prices.

You can also fly to Sharm el Sheikh from Cairo, and we will arrange a shuttle service from Sharm el Sheikh airport to Dahab which is about one hour’s drive away. Book your flights early, they are usually cheaper.

of St Catherine’s visit on February 25 and 26th, 2019 Nile Cruise: if you have never done it, it is the experience of a lifetime.

Arrangements are being made for a cruise from February 25th to the March 1st, 2019 with a return to Cairo after a visit to the pyramids and museum on the 2nd and 3rd of March.

About the lecturers:Heiner Frei MD

Dr. Frei is a paediatrician practicing in Laupen, Switzerland. Education in Brugg, Aarau and Los Angeles. Medical studies at the University of Berne, Switzerland, MD awarded in 1977. Specialization in pediatrics at the university hospitals of Bern and Lucerne, with special emphasis on pediatric surgery, neonatology, intensive care, oncology, and developmental medicine.From 1984 to 1987 head physician in pediatric hematology and oncology at the University Children's Hospital of Bern.

In 1987 initial pediatric practice and training in homeopathy. Since 1994 teaching homeopathy in Switzerland, several European countries and India.From 2001 to 2005: President of the Swiss Association of Homeopathic Physicians. Research activities and publications focusing on clinical studies about acute tonsillitis, otitis media, ADHD, H1N1 influenza, the treatment of multimorbid patients and homeopathic methodology.From 2001 to 2005: Study coordinator of the rigorous Swiss RCT on homeopathic treatment of ADHD, which yielded scientific evidence for a specific effect of homeopathic medicines. This study has been honored with the Swiss SNE Research Promotion Prize 2001 and the German Research Award of the Karl and Hilde Holzschuh Foundation 2008.In 2001 Dr. Frei developed polarity analysis, a new approach to improve the precision of homeopathic prescriptions.Since 2005 publication of several books in German and English on different aspects of polarity analysis.For his work on ADD / ADHD Dr Frei received in 2009 the Research Award of the Max and Eva Tiedemann Foundation in Germany.

Peter Chappell

BSc Hons. Electronics; PG Cert. Control Engineering, Cambridge Honorary Fellow of Society of Homeopaths Co-director, Source Medicine

Started life as a research and development engineer working in the aerospace industry (rocket engineering!) and then transferred to the business computing industry. IHad three USA patents granted in his name and others by the age of 25. Carried on innovation when became a homeopath, for example produced the first homeopathic computer software that worked in

real time in the consulting room.Ran a homeopathic practice in London from the 1970s to the 1990s, treating people from all over the world. Directed three clinics of alternative medicine in London at that time. Helped organise the teaching and practice of modern classical homoeopathy internationally, including setting up the Society of Homeopaths in the UK. During the 1990s, and organised training programmes with teams of homoeopaths and ran master classes and teaching clinics in many diverse countries and cultures, for example, Beirut in Lebanon, Cairo in Egypt, Honduras, Sarajevo in Bosnia, Novi Sad and Belgrade in Yugoslavia, Brno and Prague in the Czech Republic, Bucharest in Romania (including an ongoing clinical program offering treatment for free in twelve orphanages housing thousands of children), Sofia in Bulgaria, Bratislava in Slovakia, Budapest in Hungary, Malta, Alchopa, Nicaragua, Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, Zagreb and Split in Croatia, Malta, etc. He set up professions of homoeopathy in countries where often it didn’t exist. Many thousands of homoeopaths have been trained and the training continues to this day.His book Emotional Healing with Homoeopathy is based upon his experiences in many countries, and many people have become homoeopaths after reading it. It has been translated into many languages and has been in print now for 25 years.In 2000 he discovered that his burning, overwhelming, heart-felt passion was to do something about HIV and AIDS in Africa. No AIDS drugs were reaching Africa at this point and millions were dying of AIDS. This became his sole purpose at this time and he set about achieving it. He quit his UK practice, borrowed money off his property and went to work in Ethiopia in October 2001. Then began a whole new chapter of his life, leading to the development of Source Medicine.
