DYNAMIC DOLPHIN FOR DECEMBER “ KYLE MAFNAS ” DISPLAYING
HIS AWARD.
THE FOLLOWING STUDENTS: Arianna Lesueur, Wimeann William,
and Ashly Babasa received prizes from the Star Ticket Raffle during
JMG’s Monthly Assembly.
Prizes provided by the Kinder Teachers and Support Programs
( Curriculum and Counseling Office- Mr. and Mrs. Cruz)
On January 30, 2015, Juan M. Guerrero held its annual
Spelling Bee. There were 34 participants from grades 3-
5.

They will go on to the 43rd Annual Scripps Spelling Bee
Regional Competition on March 14.

The 3rd Grade teachers are asking parents to please
support my donating healthy snacks. All proceeds
will be used to pay for our next field trip to the mu-
seum in March. Your continued support will greatly
be appreciated. Please contact your child's teacher

Our 5th Grade student from room 21, Alexandrea Orallo, and not Angela
Orallo, as published in last month’s JMGES Newsletter, is pictured with Mr.
John S. Calvo, On-Site Coordinator of the Guam at Western Pacific Regional
Fishery Management Council, and Mr. Joseph Cameron, Executive Director
of the Guam Council on the Arts and Humanities Agency. The two gentle-
men presented an Honorable Mention Award to Alexandrea for her art work
entrance representing JMGES in the Annual Lunar Calendar Festival Art Con-
test. Her art work will be part of next year’s (2016) Fanha’aniyan Pulan
Chamorro, Guam’s Lunar Calendar

January 2015. We want to thank Ms. Kathy Orallo, Alexandrea’s mother,
for her presence in bringing Alexandrea to this event. CONGRATULATIONS

We, the Tuninos Family, of JMGES want to say

dan-miyu” (“Thank you very much for a job well
done”), for participating in this year’s JMGES
Chamorro Spelling Bee! The following 5th and 4th
grade students who showcased their knowledge
and confidence are shown in this picture; starting

Buenas yan håfa adai! Brana Sakate, our 5th grade student from room 28 on the
left side of the picture, will represent Juan M. Guerrero Elementary in this year’s
Chamorro Language Competition, Spelling Bee Category, to be held at the Uni-
versity of Guam on March 09, 2015; her homeroom teacher is Mrs. Panaguiton
and her Chamorro teacher is Siñora D. Reyes. Christian Legaspi, another of our
5th grade student from room T-5, is our alternate participant. His homeroom
teacher is Mrs. P. Mendiola and his Chamorro teacher is Siñot J. Torres. Let’s
wish these two students the best of luck and our warmest support!
